Hi there! I've been watching your channel for a while and I really love the ABI manure spreaders! I have a small farm and can't really afford to spend a lot on a spreader. I'm starting to make TH-cam videos on the farm and I would love to test one and review it!
Hi Mac! Thanks for reaching out and following along with the Dirt! Looks like you've got your hands full getting ready for spring around the ranch. I'm glad you're interested in a manure spreader, but unfortunately we don't offer a demo or test program with our units. I'm glad you asked, though. Thanks for sharing your videos. Not everyone has the good fortune of living the outdoor life. You do a great job showing people what a day-in-the-life is like. Keep it up! Best wishes, - Matt @ ABI
Great question! When it comes to keeping the chain moving freely, some of us old (cheap) diary farmers just use what's left over from a tractor oil change. 😁 The speed and heat on those ground drive spreader chains aren't so much that you have to get fancy. However, if you want to play by the book we recommend the best practices asserted by Machinery Lubrication: www.machinerylubrication.com/Read/316/chains-drives-lubricants Thanks for asking (and thinking ahead). Take care! - Matt @ ABI
I bought a 65 cf spreader Dec 2019 and It is a great machine and what a value the spreader is quality.
Thanks, Mike! Glad to hear the 65 is working well for you.

What grease/oil and application method do you recommend for the chain?
Great question!
