I am a long time follower of your youtube channel. I have a small problem in my batting style, which I don't know how to fix Actually, i use a back and across trigger movement like Zendon. I have been triggering for a year, so i am comfortable with it. But recently, I have noticed that I lean too much onto the front foot after trigger, which means that at my set position, it's almost as if I am committed to the front foot before the ball is bowled. Earlier I could hit amazing sixes on cuts and pulls to fast bowlers, but now this problem just came out of nowhere and I am struggling in the nets because of it. Is there any way you could suggest so that I can fix this problem? I don't want to make it a bad habit, I want to get rid of it as soon as possible. Thank you so much
Normally, weight should be 60% on front foot, and 40% on back foot, if your weight is too much on the front foot, I reckon staying a little more upright can be useful. Ultimately, you must remind yourself constantly in practice to not put too much weight on the front foot, and watch the ball. You can then commit to weight transfer and be amazing of both front and back foot shots.
If you pull the ball from outside off stump, you can't get your head in line with it, as you'd fall over or send your weight too far to the off side right? So where should the head be?
Your head should always be as close to the line of the ball as possible. If you have enough time to move your back foot across to the off side to get your head inline, do that! If you cant, then just realize that the risk becomes greater and your margin for error becomes smaller.
Sir I need advice, I am a young cricketer who started playing some time ago. I had cleared the district and almost in my way to make it to the state team but due to political reasons players whom I played better than got chance in the team and I didn't. What should I do?
I APPRECIATE YOUR EFFORTS SIR ❤ THANK YOU SO MUCH BUT, I ACTUALLY HAVE ONE PROBLEM THAT I AM ADDICTED TO A CERTAIN SHOT I MEAN I ALWAYS TRY TO HIT LOFTED STRAIGHT DRIVE ON EVERY BALL HOW CAN I GET RID OF THIS ❤I KNOW MANY SHOTS AND PRACTICED TOO BUT IN MATCH I AM JUST PLAYING A PARTICULAR SHIT 😢❤
Idk much but what I can say is that if you are power-hitter then light bet and if timer then heavy bat, and if somewhere in between then bat also somewhere in between

What about our front foot postion and weight while hitting the bowl?
Stay side on as long as possible, so make sure your front foot does go across to the leg side.
@CoachCricXI does go across or doesn't go across?
