If you go frame by frame at 17:01 when you scan you can see a flicker of orange at the top. There was three people alive not two, a third was above you. The T1 couldn't have been reviving as there were moving/crouch walking. They were healing.
That was great Neenoh. I learn a lot just watching how you time your peeks and shots, how you duck in and out of cover, when you use aim or hipfire so thanks man. Magpie and solo necro are threats to loose play by other hunters and in particular teams. Tight team play is a hard counter, right? I think (as they require investment) they are self-balancing as you're giving up important other defensive traits to have them. Occasionally you get away with something stupid as a solo because of 3rd party or AI but mostly solo has got to be tight, always on the move and staying stealthy when you have to. Even then, the odds are hugely stacked against you. You simply pose a greater strategic threat than before with the trade off is that solo is widely viable, even for low MMR players. I'm loving solo right now. Cheers!
Great video Neenoh! I think the edits were very crisp. I personally have been testing about more with friends about bleed ammo and it’s definitely grown a lot on me. I think the solo buffs are cool but often when I have magpie when solo I just end up spamming darksight when I’m not
Reviving into that poison cloud while on your last health bar with one bullet left made me feel soooo on edge. But got-damn that was some impressive Bayou Shufflin' and Shootin'. Also, the magpie solo buff as well as solo self revive and the long serpent slurp have made playing solo a blast. I've been having so much fun running shotgun loadouts as a solo and playing aggressive.

The trio at the end popped up because you killed someone mid revive. The revive went off while you were walking away, then they picked the chick and the third back up while you were fighting the other guy.

I think the editing trick of taking two of the same action and cutting between them is genius. The only thing that would make it better is the instant transmission sound effect from Dragon Ball Z. It’s all I can hear when you do it 😆

I believe what happened is they finished the res right when you killed them and they dude stood up and revived them all while you were shooting the other dude
Maybe after u killed the girl by the boat she still finished the Res and you didnt see the mate stand up? Just a guess, i rewatched it and couldnt see a thing.
i think the magpie buff is perfect, although i feel like naturally solos should get 10 seconds, after all duos+ get 10 together just need one guy to not scan until the other guy is done, so since ur a solo and u cant pick up both bounties you should have 10 seconds cuz ur alone
Thoughts on magpie? Honestly I think all of the traits with solo-specific benefits that are unrelated to the trait's normal function (Namely Necromancer and Magpie) should've just had those extra effects made baseline for all solo hunters. If they're supposed to be there to make solo vs teams more 'fair' and a viable way to play the game for more people, then it shouldn't be tied to a trait IMO. Like tbh I'm still not fond of solo necro either as a user or dealing with enemy solos with it, because countering it is unfun for both parties, but if they're deadset on keeping it as-is functionally it doesn't make sense to me why only hunters with a single specific pair of traits are allowed to get the benefit of a 'fair' solo experience
Solo Magpie Buff is totally fine imho. Solo Necromancer buff is just busted and has not been fun to play against at all. We had several matches now where a Solo that we killed and couldn't get to (because too far away or we were fighting another team) got up like 2 or 3 minutes later and killed us because we were busy otherwise. I don't think it's a good game design that you have to be on edge for the rest of the game just because the solo MIGHT rezz himself if you can't burn or trap them immediately.
I don't mean to be a killjoy, but I feel like the editing is a little heavy lately. Especially at 2:13 I can't even really see the timing and lead of the shot, which is a big part of what I'm here for.

Does the Magpie buff increase range of Serpent? If so, that makes it the best bang-for-your-buck trait in the game. Not just the double bountysight.
