When I am in a diet mindset then certain foods are automatically out of bounds, like cheeses, oils, sauces… then inevitably I become miserable with what I eat and start eating very indulgent things instead. Instead now I make sure I add those “contrabands” to my regular healthy meals, so a bit of cheese, pesto etc just to make it actually nice and exciting to eat. I end up satisfied, happy and I don’t end up overeating later because I’ve made myself happy when I was actually hungry. It makes all the difference, and I suppose really embodies the mindset of “everything is fine in moderation”.
Girl, i'm struggling with this for so many years i went to nutritionist, psychologist, psychiatrist and i've never meet anyone that understands me how you did. I feel like you're on my mind when i watch your videos. Thank you so much for them.
Videos to the topics of emotional eating, especially distinguishing between emotional and physical hunger would be helpful. Thanks a lot for your work, this is so valuable!
Youa are the most helpful educator on this topic that I have found. Your videos have genuinely helped me feel motivated to go slow and change the deeper issue instead of the symptoms and one day overcome my disorder
Your account was a gift after restricting since I was 8 years old! Thank you so much for the work you do! After everything I've tried and researched, nothing has resonated with me as much and I feel so heard and seen. Thank you really, you are helping so many people
I would love a video on having autism and having a normal relationship with food. It’s hard since I can be so picky with food, healthy and unhealthy food.
Thank you so much. Those videos have helped me so much so far. I wish I could afford being one of your clients and hopefully I will one day. I ve struggled with ‘ bed ‘ for so long and now being a new mom I really want to know food freedom and focus on making beautiful memories with my daughter.
I am so glad! It's lovely to have you here and congratulations on becoming a mum ❤️ If it is at all helpful to you, I am creating a really comprehensive step by step programme on this topic modelling everything that I do with clients from start to finish. The idea is to have a more cost effective option for individuals such as yourself who may not have the time and finances at the moment to put towards 1:1 help. There will be a payment plan option for this as well to make it even more accessible. I'm making it as thorough and groundbreaking as I possibly can without being directly involved in your journey. You're very welcome to put your name down on the waitlist to hear when it's released (only if that would be helpful!) rachaelwrigley.com/programme-waitlist-sign-up/
Thank you so much for your videos, I always fear clicking on videos with this topic, because most of the time it messes with my head and I get confused about everything, but every single video of yours I watched gave me some new perspective and real helpful advice, which isn’t easy to do with a topic this complex.. I am wondering if you’re thinking about writing a book?
Thank you for taking the time to comment, it means a lot to hear that these videos help. Thank you for the compliment as well. I do consider writing a book. For now, I have been making my comprehensive program which walks women through the whole process to a great relationship with food. From that, I may well write a book. After a bit of a break! ❤️
I need your advice! I'm terrified to lose weight because when I used to be skinny I was treated poorly. How do I get over my fear? Guys only liked me for my body. How do I get over my fear and allow myself to feel safe losing weight?,
Thank you for your question and I'm sorry to hear about your experience being mistreated. I cant give you any personal advice but I will ask: was it actually because of your body you were treated poorly? What can you feasibly work on within yourself for yourself that would allow you to maintain strong personal boundaries, regardless of what your body looks like?
Thank you, Rachael. You have a lot of insightful information. I would love a video to help explore if one is emotional eating. I am a 47year old female, and have been attempting a body recomposition for a few years with little success. I weigh 123lbs @ around 25% body fat. My goal is 17% body fat. I really don't care about my weight (it's just a number). I want my body "tighter, firmer" I really think it's my diet. I weight train using progressive overload three times/week and HIIt train (20mins/session) two times per week (I don't enjoy cardio 🙂). Any suggestions to achieve my goal is greatly appreciated.
I understand your curiosity in this, I hope you understand why it would be against my philosophy to share that. ❤️ I don't advocate for weight goals, I advocate for finding your natural healthy weight and good wellbeing through gaining a healthy relationship with food and yourself.
@@RachaelWrigley ok i understand, but what's mean by a healthy weight, how do I know if i am that weight, im a 19 year old male who is 46 kg and can you please mention your height, not weight, and also i have to share a problem, iam afraid to move to a hostel because I'm afraid what ingredients are they putting in it , because I have been eating healthy most times from home, and I'm also sad because of my family, I'm sad because family is everything for me, and if I'm staying in away and having another foods like a better one than my family, i feel sad and depressed and i also feel that staying away from home will make me gain Weight because of bad habits and i have to force myself to eat unhealthy, but as a college student studying with friends is best for me, what do I do please help
