Parang tulad nitong note to god, di naman sumakto sa boses nya, this song requires power, soul, depth hindi lang basta basta yung naabot mo ang notes. Same lang din sa kanta ni mariah, kaya namn kaya nya kantahin kasi swak sa boses nya yung kanta, meron din syang whistle register. Gets?

Kudos for trying to cover this song i like morissette too because she also have her own style in belting but what differs it to charice is the emotion. Yeah morissette has a beautiful voice thats for sure but i miss charice voice because hers is simply phenomenal, I wonder who could try & step in her path like she did intentionally & have her name 2nd in the billboard, 1st in some other countries & be known as the very talented girl in the world. Hayys good ol' days, but still makes you proud as a filipino 😊
Morisette is a great and really talented singer. Mori hit all the right notes effortlessly, but "Note to God" is a soulful song that is filled with anger and sadness and that's what Mori lacked in her rendition of the song. She has passion and emotion but just not the right kind.
Mori did a good job don't compare her to Charice. Si Charice naman kasi eh, masyadong ginalingan, She make sure na walang makaka-kanta sa kanta nya as perfect as her.
It's so hard listening to this song without comparing it to Charice version on Oprah. Even when Morisette try to change some of the runs, it came up so underwhelming. Charice performance, you can definitely feel her soul. A fan of both of them tho. Love from Malaysia ❤️

That the song note to God is a powerful song that needs a powerful voice to sing it like charice pempengco because whatever song she sings she gives justice..on it, Because there's a emotions with every song she sings .. While morissette amon..let's say that her voice is also high but sometimes the emotion disappears or its not there..it seems like all she has in mind is that she can reach the song.
May nakita akong fan ni Mori dito grabe kung maka defend haha. I'm also a fan of Morisette and yes it's true magaling talaga siya sobra pero tanggap ko na mas magaling si Charice haha. Men Charice is a force of nature, I'm not really into biriteras or belting but siya lang next to Regine well in the Philippines ang nakakapagbigay ng goosebumps sakin sa unang buga palang up to end. Just my opinion anyways we all have biases bala kayo diyan haha pero Charice's vocal power, tone, depth, soul, stage presence and even though limited range is incomparable and rare like Whitney's.

Charice sang it not to flaunt that she can belt.. she sang the song with her heart and soul. Mori, sang this to prove that she can reach how high it is but i didn't feel it at all. Just saying.

Vocally, morissette is almost up to par with charice. But feel like mori lacking passion when singing this song. Mori is a talented vocalist pero mas focused siya sa technique and vocal acrobatics. Nakakabilib pa rin yung mga singer who can sing with emotions at naririnig mo rin sa boses nila yun no wonder nag marka si charice as a singer esp with this song. Emotion is very powerful, best example is Sharon, not a biritera, not a very technical singer but even with her limited vocal range, she's still able to effectively express the message of the song.

Vocally, morissette is almost up to par with charice. But feel like mori lacking passion when singing this song. Meanwhile charice always sing with full passion and emotion, let alone with stronger belt. Mori has her own strength, charice has her own strengths too. But mori still gave justice to this song! Congrats morisette. Its not an easy song.

Mori is a talented vocalist pero mas focused siya sa technique and vocal acrobatics. Nakakabilib pa rin yung mga singer who can sing with emotions at naririnig mo rin sa boses nila yun no wonder nag marka si charice as a singer esp with this song. Emotion is very powerful, best example is Sharon, not a biritera, not a very technical singer but even with her limited vocal range, she's still able to effectively express the message of the song.
