I've been going through a spiritual valley the past 6 months...i teach Sunday school to high school seniors and love it, but having a difficult time with sin and my quiet time with God. I love Jesus with all my heart- but feel like I'm about to step back from teaching and i haven't even prayed about it... my family is overall healthy, but always sick on Saturday night or Sunday morning when it's time for God and worship. No, it's my bonus son. His father and I had full custody of him (as much help as we tried giving bio mom over the years, in/out of rehab, she finally overdosed on fentanyl, very sad, this was after finding out her boyfriend raped our son) as we were waiting for the final court date that allows me to legally adopt my son, which was supposed to be held in April, the great grandmother on bio mom's side went to a completely different jurisdiction, had a court clerk sign off on guardianship with no reasoning and picked up our child from the school without the school even contacting us because she had court papers. We did everything we could to have our lawyers do something. We haven't heard or seen him since February 16th of this year. We try every single day. The lawyers pointed out all the illegalities of what Sharon (great grandmother) did and how not allowing us to see or hear from him will backfire to on her, and may even strip her of any rights. However, they said all we can do is go to court to bring justice and get our son back. So now, June 26th (unless God opens up something sooner) is the courtdate that vacates illegal guardianship and brings justice to bring our son back home. Please pray with me.

Samantha, I feel for you. In my case it’s been 6 years since I haven’t heard nor seen my first granddaughter Marah, she’s now 18. I have been praying unceasingly, that she would remember the love we shared her first 12 years. My son, her father was 21 when she was born, just as mother’s age. They weren’t married, her mom left my son, we had to go to court to have shared custody, one day that my son had her, he was having a bad day and I was there had gone to see her, his anger and frustration about some personal issues with his girlfriend, Marah’s mom used that event to keep her away from us. We didn’t have her phone number, only the mom’s so I would tex her and she would tell me that Marah saw the message, every holiday, on her birthdays I would text the mom, these last 2 times on her birthday and Easter, I didn’t get an answer back from the mom. My son paid child support. We are heartbroken from this separation. Parents shouldn’t use the innocent children to hurt the other parent. The world is harsh enough for them. I pray you get your children back. Children need the love of both parents, all differences should be put aside. Only God can help us be reunited. We keep the faith. (((Hugs)))

I've been telling God I don't know how much longer I can go on living like this.
