I love going Auto Attack on Surtr. It's a bit of a meme build, but going Axe of Animosity and Qins with full defense under it turns Surt into a blender. Its just... it requires level 20 lol
I like Mast because he is just so chill. He is just a guy. Plays the game well. Is objective about the meta. Helps me play better. I’m not bothered by the sponsors. I want more content creators like him.
I remember a few years ago, someone commented that if Mast saw some terrible catastrophe with a huge body count, that he would say "that's unfortunate." That was a joke, I'm sure that he would be sympathetic towards the suffering of others. However, his chill attitude and focus on using failure as a point of learning have really helped me improve as a player (not that I'm being offered spots on SPL teams or anything, he just helped me improve from terrible to decent).
Yeah, if any other sponsors are drawn to him, I wouldn't mind. Even if I don't buy from his sponsors, their association with someone as level-headed and good natured as Mast improves their brand's image in my mind.

I feel like Surtr's 1 would be so much better to try and stack if, say, the cooldown gets halved and half the mana cost was refunded on a minion kill with it. I wish they would do something to it, because I agree that it just... kinda sucks to stack currently.

Either that, or have it give you more than 1 stack (maybe 5?) when a god dies while burned. Creates more incentive to try and stack it since you don't lose lane pressure by having to stack it on minions.

I’ve gotten up to 40 stacks in 20 min and it do a good bit of dam at that point bc I could feel the extra dam from it I’d say it’s actually worth if you really try to get stacks without sacrificing farm ofc

The one spawns an imp upon a successful basic attack. Good setup for his 2. This is his best use for his 1, and this, not stacking the passive, should be the only thing on your mind about his 1 during pvp.

You can cancel the surtr 3 and, if it didn't get patched, hydras can proc on the 3 and when you cancel the 3 so you can get 2 hydra procs quickly in one ability.

That poseidon literally is infamous for being toxic, I legit hope they add a feature to kick someone from your team and let someone else queue in.

And I don’t remember what the crit sits at but anything that has high physical damage. Not that tanky but I mean you heal a lot and your crits end up slapping for like 850

Several thoughts:
1. Congrats on the sponsorship.
2. That particular quest/dare is one that I tend to dislike. Any time I have a battle-pass quest for saying "you rock" after an ally gets a kill, I tell my team in pre-game lobby so it doesn't look like salt or sarcasm when I complete the quest in game. At least it's better than a quest to say "I'm the greatest after getting a kill."
3. Contagion is out of the game at the point that I'm watching this. I really like the new passive, but I think it should be moved to a different tank item that doesn't have an antiheal aura, since the mystical mail passive on enemies who cc you seems to be the main draw for the item instead of antiheal (not sure what contagion's new passive would be, maybe making it so you get some or all of the healing reduced, maybe putting a debuff on enemies who heal in the radius so they take a small % increased damage from all sources for 3 seconds, or something else).
For the new item which would receive the current contagion passive, maybe something like "spiked armor," "vengeful shield," "chainmail of retribution" or something similar with a bit of both protections, health, and possibly some CCR. Probably also with a short cooldown (maybe the duration of the damage aura, probably somewhere in the 2-6 second range if not the exact duration of the aura) so enemies with more than one cc (like Hercules, Fenrir, Horus, Fafnir, Bellona, etc... aren't countered too badly). I do really like the idea of placing a damaging aura on enemies that cc you, but it feels too strong on an item that is decent otherwise. Granted, I essentially never bought contagion over pestilence before the rework (really only in assault if the enemy team was mostly physical, had lots of healing, and I was a tank; that was a rare combination to have all of the components of).
Don’t sleep on the 1 passive Mast.
Is this after all the nerfs from the new update 10.1?? I love using surtr solo and have found myself loving smite cause I’m getting better and can compete with my higher skilled friends. But after I saw the patch notes it made me sad that I can’t use surtr and some of the items they nerfed. Any help?
Best advice I could give, play surtr. He may have been nerfed but that doesnt mean he isnt playable. He still has healing in his passive and while less prots, he still has them. You can learn the lane better and eventually the nerfs wont matter.
I feel like he's an extreme lane bully but absolutely no threat late game unless every other member on your team trolled and fell behind 3 levels on him

I find surts 1 to be pretty powerful especially when you build for ability he becomes a bully with that thing hit 2 n 3 by the time the 3 ends hit the 1 and that kills anyone
I dunno about your take one the 1. I use it like an aa cancel to last hit archers / totem / cd buff / blue buff and brother i don’t if it’s just me but it seems to fucking ruins squishies.
For context I’m averaging about 2/3 stacks a min and the first so by my first rotation to mid im around 25/40 stacks.

So, I might be wrong about surtrs passive, but I swear it’s way more op and important to stack than is given priority. If I read the ability correctly, it just says while it’s active and minions die you gain stacks. I think that means you can activate it and then use your 3 to clear a full wave and be given, in theory 6 stacks per wave. I don’t think the minion has to have the effect to count towards the passive. That might be wrong, and if it is I understand not heavily working to get it stacked, but I do think it’s a potentially disgusting passive.
If you're speaking about the passive on his 1, then it only gives a stack if the enemy that's on fire dies whilst on fire. No stacks for anything else that dies in that time

I love you Mast but seeing you not stack your 1, and then DOUBLING DOWN on this fact by refusing to stack it out of spite... really hurt me to watch
it makes sense not to focus on stacking the 1, but literally going out of your way to purposely not get stacks on it seems like a dumb decision to me. If there's nobody in lane why not get a stack or 2, it's literally free damage.
I really disagree with Mast on stacking the 1. Of course, it's not something you want to focus on when you are fighting in lane for pressure, but whenever you are just farming by yourself, you should really try to get as much stacks as possible. It doesn't cost any time, just some awareness which minion amd when you want to hit it to make sure you actually get the stack. The base dmg of the 1 is 240. With 30 stacks its 330 and with how long many games are going it's actually not hard to get around 30 to 40 stacks every match. So while the early impact of a few stacks isn't noticable at all, later on i think his 1 is one of the main reasons why he is so oppressive, even on a full defense build.
I can see this becoming even more important when some of his other abilities get nerfed.

What’s up with matchmaking atm ? I’ve never seen so many games with people leaving and teams surrendering
