I don’t really like to run meta much unless I go on a losing streak and rage meta for a couple games. I almost exclusively run these bad deck Friday decks and this one is 100% going in the decks lol.
I made a version of this to play IRL…so much fun. My daughter and I have an Ambipom deck each…she uses the one that does damage for every card in hand…it felt good flipping a heads to withstand a 340 attack..to then knock her out next turn…great fun.
someone who played Ambipom you need the tools. Defiance Band and Max Belt are huge for fixing the math without Glimwood, and Counter can replace Prime for the Ace Spec. Edit: If you work fix some energy manipulation, a Tempest Metagross seems interesting too.

4 Rod is nice instead of Basculegion because you can do it without an evolution or an attack. 14 energy is I guess 280 damage with basculegion at max, so that Giratina down :)
Banette, Venomoth, and Eri have all gotten more popular. The deck in the video has 14 basic. With a max belt that can ohko a Charizard. My main deck has between 12 and 17 energy depending on which version I am playing that day. Even in the deck that plays 17 energy I still play one rod. It doesn't have to be all out nothing you can split the difference.
What about a 1/1 hisuian basculegion line to recover the energies? Intentionally thin the deck to 0 then attack with basculegion for about 300 (with max belt one shot zard)

The system of labor, where the game designers and manufacturers and programmers' surplus value is extracted by a few at the top of the corporate hierarchy, that allows a product like this to exist on mass scale, only exists because we allow it to. i was using ambi when cherrim was in format. if it set up, it was nightmare to play against unless they had a shred attacker
