I don’t really like to run meta much unless I go on a losing streak and rage meta for a couple games. I almost exclusively run these bad deck Friday decks and this one is 100% going in the decks lol.

i was using ambi when cherrim was in format. if it set up, it was nightmare to play against unless they had a shred attacker

someone who played Ambipom you need the tools. Defiance Band and Max Belt are huge for fixing the math without Glimwood, and Counter can replace Prime for the Ace Spec.
Edit: If you work fix some energy manipulation, a Tempest Metagross seems interesting too.

I loved to play infiltrator Dragapult in my local league before but never built the Ambipom deck to replace it even though I traded all the cards for it... I will however start trolling with the new Fezandipiti card because I got so many of that one in the prerelease event 😁

Hey LDF, I started playing ptcg when astral radiance and I've been interested in playing the expanded format, but I have no clue what's a good Deck or begin to create one...I was wondering if you would post content on that format, like Saturday Expansion... like the Bad Deck Friday.
I've been having a ton of fun running lugia archeops version of this deck just wish there was a good way to get special energy out of discard

I play a deck that burns through energy and Basculegion is an understated hero. Get back all your energy and give massive hits with a one prizer while doing it.
4 Rod is nice instead of Basculegion because you can do it without an evolution or an attack. 14 energy is I guess 280 damage with basculegion at max, so that Giratina down :)
Banette, Venomoth, and Eri have all gotten more popular. The deck in the video has 14 basic. With a max belt that can ohko a Charizard.
My main deck has between 12 and 17 energy depending on which version I am playing that day. Even in the deck that plays 17 energy I still play one rod. It doesn't have to be all out nothing you can split the difference.

Ambipom is one heck of a card that can flip more coins per energy for as long as you have energy givers like baxie or metang
What about a 1/1 hisuian basculegion line to recover the energies? Intentionally thin the deck to 0 then attack with basculegion for about 300 (with max belt one shot zard)

It's better with lugia/arceops. You can tech in a 2-2 line in it
I shelved my Brambleghast deck because flipping tails all the time feels so bad.
Just use dice instead

a WAYYY more toxic and way more consistent support for ambipom is POGO zard with Zard ex as a bonus(pogo zard is the main part) u run it with the armarouge that puts energy to the active and magma basin and so if u get 5 energy on ambipom with pogo zard u can do up to 600 damage and on average 300 damage with 50-50 flips and with magma basin +zard ex + energy per turn you can get 5 on ambipom in 1 turn

The loss of Cherrim was so bad for the deck. Earthen Vessel+Cherrim+Ambipom was so great for the deck.
Can this deck be tweaked to use Basculegion, Jacq, and Miriam?

LDF, the only non-political content creator I follow these days. I haven’t played Pokémon in about two years because Pokemon and the fan base had to get political for some reason IRL and on streams; but you’re my last hope to holding onto Pokemon. It should be fun competition, like this Ambipom deck; but no one has fun unless it’s Mewtwo EX or PikaRom pub stomping. If I get back into Pokemon IRL, it’s because of you. Keep being you buddy.
I've never seen a pokemon content person say anything political
Celebrating a trading card game is inherently political. The system of labor, where the game designers and manufacturers and programmers' surplus value is extracted by a few at the top of the corporate hierarchy, that allows a product like this to exist on mass scale, only exists because we allow it to.
It's wildly popular and tons of fun, so it's not very divisive, but it is political.
Its all political all the way down. Either you choose to prioritize distraction or action. Up to you.
