I love how Lingualizer just stands there like a statue until they read the sign😂😂
I think it would be awesome for them to try learning a signed language. It's a totally different experience than a spoken language. ASL, for instance, is a topic comment language. There is no real svo order. Instead, the order you put those in mean something. It interesting.
Ok ngl the "Maya hi, Maya hu, Maya ha, Maya ha ha" joke was very fun 😂😂
You have some nice music taste man 😁
There are hundreds of thousands of Romanians in Spain, so you'll be paying out a lot for that.
Same in France and Italy
that girl had a bad accent tho you could tell she had grown up in spain
@@milhanou229 Yes, and they're the second-largest nationality in Spain & Italy.
yeah, bad move to try this in Spain if you don't speak Romanian 😅
@@redlander55 haha I was actually surprised that the guy doesn't know at least some basic words and sentences in Romanian

If Swiss German is a language then Schwäbish, Platt Deutsch, Bayerishe and etc are also. That’s not fair and very arrogant. It’s a Allemanic Dialect. There’s one standard version of Swiss German which is indistinguishable from German spoken elsewhere apart from some words.
If someone speaks Finnish, I'll be shocked.
"Finnish people do" 😎
Considering Finland doesn't exist, I would be shocked as well

Bro shit was so funny you can't make it up. Stereotypes prove themselves
@@maurofac841 Exactly. In France, there's an old expression (it's not as used today as it was in the past obviously and some dislike it), it's "Fais pas ton juif!". It means "Don't act jewish" and is used when someone does something selfish or is greedy. I don't believe in those stereotypes but you gotta admit that coincidence is hilarious.
@@maurofac841 my whole family is jewish and we hate those stereotypes. But that is a big coincidence. I promise you not all of us are like that😂😂
It surprises me that no one attempted Portuguese yet
It’s pointless. Pretty sure both of them can speak it
@@kingofthedivan1251 I saw in a video and Wouter portuguese is absolutely dreadful. It is what we call Portunhol in Brazil, 90% Spanish with some Portuguese words or vice-versa. Some people can't even understand that
The woman at 3:20 probably wanted to speak in Limburgish which is why she said "Wieërt" instead of Weert. But when Wouter switched to Dutch she didn't persist and just talked Dutch as well. She should have persisted and won the 20 tho
Limburgs is geen taal.
Dat noemt men een dialect
@@red_601 lol no. It is legally classified as a distinct language in the Netherlands, together with Frisian and Low Saxon

@1:27
Who the heck does not she think she is that Xenophobic Swiss Women?! The same could be said about Swiss-German since some people say that it is regular German, spoken by Autistic people. They should have said the same thing to her friend who spoke Swiss German and tell her that it does not qualify, and never give her the money.
Seems like we weren't triggered enough
@@lingualizer French is my mother tongue and I find yours to be more than adequate and easily understood. What she said was out of line and Wouter did say something about it (glad he did). Odd that I am the only one who finds her reprehensible.
Two of my favourites. You should do some Wouter style pranks. I feel like it would be really cool with 2 people
"It's not good French" what an entitlement, bye girl
the french are known for their rudeness
its not a surprise xD

@@mikaeljorgemarcondesdeoliv7089 uhm i don't think it's easy to learn it if you're not north African, does anybody actually teach it? Plus these days people could say it's cultural appropriation, and from what I've experienced north Africans are very attached to their culture
@@tonywop lmao cultural appropriation to learn a language? Please stop this fucking simulation
@@tonywop people could say it's cultural appropriation, so learning a language is stealing ?
@@richard6440 technically even eating pizza is cultural appropriation (if you're not Italian), but people these days are just insane and incoherent and stand for a thing only when it benefits themselves. The funny thing about sign language is, many countries have different sign languages.

I love the variation of languages in *only* one site!!

This the only time where coming from a major country is a disadvantage since your language is so popular then lol
You should do this in London...You probably wouldn't understand some of the people speaking English lol

also these dudes: i can’t even learn ASL 😢
Dude i literally planned to speak Filipino if this hiys come but they know so i got to stick with ethnic langguages again
its funny and ironic that the jewish guy was already reaching his hand for 20
Imagine if the sign language guy just hoped both of them didnt know sign language and he just winged it.
He was speaking ASL. American sign language. Unless the British or other kinds have similar signs. The finger from ear to mouth said 'I am deaf' (as opposed to hearing impaired) and the fingers in front of his mouth back and forth were like 'Do you speak? '
Bros got friends everywhere
What did the man at the end say in sign language? He seemed like a really humble guy! Also, great video!!
There’s a bunch of different versions of sign language depending on where you live, like in America we have asl (American sign language) which is a lot different than something like jsl (Japanese sign language) so it’s kinda hard to tell what he’s saying because I’m not sure if what he’s saying is in asl but at the beginning it seems like he’s asking if they are deaf I think? And then when he walks up to them I think he’s asking if they know sign language or if their hearing? I’m not completely sure I’m only in asl 2 but that’s what I think he might be saying
And also when the guy hands him the money and puts his hand on his chin that means thank you and the guy is saying thank you thank you back to him
@@lunarmoon3493 awwww thank you so much for taking the time to explain it to me!!! Appreciate it! :)))

I wish I had the means to visit Valencia. I'd love to get the chance to try one of your challenges. Also, I have two languages which you'd probably not know, but I don't speak very much of them: Yiddish and Ladino. Admittedly, Yiddish is very close to German. Ladino is Judeo-Spanish. Both are languages that are very slowly being brought back from the brink of becoming dead languages.
Yiddish maybe will survive on the Orthodox communities. As a Valencian/Spanish speaker I watched some Ladino videos on youtube and feels like old spanish to me.

Its really confusing to hear your OWN native language after hearing spanish, deutsch, russian, english etc. and then out of nowhere you recognise its your freaking native language being spoken, but your brain is like lagged and looking for all those different vocal patterns, despite you hearin what you hear everyday, but it feels odd, like foreing language, still for those few seconds.
Do you speak finland🇫🇮. Minä puhun suomea ja sinun videot ovat todella mahtavia. Olen sinun suuri fani.
