Naturally, I played WWF Warzone on the Sony PlayStation as a kid in the 90s💪🏿. And of course I picked Ahmed Johnson, if you grew up in the 90s, you would have too…. So naturally, this has been the only time that I have ever understood, every single solitary word, that has come out of Ahmed Johnson’s mouth. I’m laughing hysterically with joy, but I’m not shocked, because he is a military veteran, his articulation and intensity is a paramount core of his foundation and fundamentals, The true 1%. “Say, Does he have a mentorship program Jack?”💪🏿
In my opinion, the only other professional wrestling video game character, that gave me a speech before the in-game match play, that actually motivated me, besides Ahmed Johnson’s in Warzone, had to be, Scott “Flash” Norton’s motivational speech, in a video game called WCW Thunder? I’m still undefeated with both characters simply because of their pre-match promo alone, I thought they were talking to me Jack lol🤷🏾♂️💪🏿 💪🏿 And for the record, yes I owned and played WCW Mayhem, once again this was the 90s, and I have parents with black or brown skin, so I was lucky to even get a video game, especially since I knew the last thing I was ever to do, was to open my mouth and ask for anything, especially a video game lol, ya here me? Plus, Bill Goldberg was on the cover, and at that time, every last kid knew that Superman was a comic book character, but if he was real, Bill Goldberg would Spear and Jackhammer his ass, without the aid of kryptonite. You have to understand this was a different time as far as modern technology as you know it , everyone could pick up a comic book and see Superman do normal stuff, like shave his facet and walk the dog and eat some food, when we turned on the television, we only saw Bill Goldberg do two things, Spear and Jackhammer homie. I say all that to say this, imagine if we had Ahmed Johnson on the cover of any video game in the 90s? I believe I would’ve took a ass whoopin that day, because I would’ve actually opened my mouth (which was a no no unless you were bleeding in my home growing up) and asked my mom can she buy me that wrestlin game?…. and then I would’ve threw up my cross guard defensive stance and just stood there and rode the wave of pain till it was over. lol. Most worth it imaginary whoopin ever! 👏🏿🥹
