I have a six year old son, who is autistic, and highly empathetic (and yes... those aren’t mutually exclusive). He feels such a connection whenever he’s around animals. I knew from the trailer, he’d enjoy watching me play the game, but... knowing it’s relatively linear and the fox can’t die, I know he’ll enjoy playing it. Hearing you talk about discussing the themes in the game with your daughter... well... games as a teachable medium?? That’s something I can get behind.
Absolutely Peter, has a good message in the game about looking after our world and love so I can get behind that my friend and my daughter loved this and learning so all good in my book. I think something like that would be great for your son. Have a great end to the week buddy.
Looks brilliant.....I once had a strange experience where a fox followed me, staring at me, it was broad daylight so even weirder. Ever since I always appreciate the spooky quality of foxes.
Yeah I flipping love this game so getting this for my switch! Cheers for the review I played it on the PS4 and I dearly love it that much I ended up getting the enhanced version for the ps5 too, textures lighting and visuals are all 'enhanced' of course and ya get a couple of new foxy dog outfits no adaptive trigger modes unfortunately, but like I said love it that much getting it for the switch, def my type of game
The older I get the more I enjoy these little adventure games over big epic games they take months to finish. Just a few short fun games to have the experiences.
Agreed! Games like the Witcher 3, which I recently played for the first time on Switch, are daunting and down right exhausting at my age. What Remains of Edith Finch or a Goose game are a most welcomed weekend distraction.

Excellent review, it sure does look like a beautiful game. I really enjoyed Rime, but it sounds like this game needs a patch like Rime did in the beginning.
Gonna wait for a sale but looks promising. So far I’ve enjoyed Gris and Rime which are games that tell a story without words. Somehow these type of games are just so beautiful to look at and this one seems to follow in their footsteps.

@@808zhu yes m8 they give you a template but it's not like out mugs and T shirts where it's all automated. You basically choose where to put your logo but on the hats it's manual and you need a certain design program. Then need to do all sorts of stuff which we just don't have time to really figure out.
This game made me sick.. you dont know where this fox comes from.. does he have any friends? There is NOTHING around.. no signs of life of ANY kind...not even a bird in the sky..you follow the trail down to a cave full of dead people.. you bring a magical staff to the dead body.. a path opens up and there is a spirit fox.. Great another dead person! you follow this fox doing its tasks til it makes you fall off a cliff and you break your leg.. The fox is limping to the point it passes out or dies.while the spirit ffox wants you to deliver another staff LIMPING!! first it hurts you, then demands you work while injured WTF??!!. I dunno.. the spirit fox gives you all its energy and follows you as a spirit orb still wanting you to do more favors since it "revived" you.. you get more magical staffs and finally after many transformations you too become a spirit fox.. WHY would you want to be with a fox that caused you to break your leg and work you literally to death??? This walks through after seeing it, made me SICK! I asked for a refund right away..

I know man, using Tee spring it's difficult to design. Really want to get it done but the program is not intuitive for hats at all. Painful.
