Welcome to our Chip Daily Duppy Reaction!!! This is our latest video reaction from our new music reaction channel Beer’s & Bars. Here we listen, react, and breakdown bars while enjoying some of our favorite beers. Today was interesting! Not only did the daily duppy background receive a makeover, but we also received our first introduction to Chip! Since he is not a regular for us, we were paying close attention to what Chip could bring to the table and it was nothing short of amazing! We love how he dove right into the track with the doubles, triples, and crazy delivery patterns but it didn’t stop there! After the introduction he started bringing us into his world with the realities he was faced with and had to overcome, and it was so cool how Chip drew us in and now we are wanting more! Chip is an og grime mc. He came up with all your favourites. The culture was based on clashing with other mcs using diss tracks. Chip went up against many and literally destroyed them all. Stormzy came up many years later and a couple of years ago stormzy sent for Wiley, who is also an og. In his disses stormzy claimed he was the king of grime. Which the old heads didn’t appreciate at all. Stormzy put out his album gang signs and prayer and then heavy is the head. Which appear to be him choosing Christianity over street life. Which would have been ok, if he hadn’t shown up to chips house with three of his boys all blacked out in his lambo 4x4. All because he thought chip had indirectly dissed him in a track called waze. So after that chip put out 2 diss tracks even showing a video of when they turned up at his house. Stormzy at that point should have replied, as that’s how grime beef gets settled but he didn’t and even went onto a Dave track and sent just subliminal disses at chip. So chip being chip. Put out another two disses which received no reply either. So to us as og grime fans, stormzy was completely discredited. On this one the hairline and king of grime are both in direct reference to stormzy. The first 2 disses were, flowers (performed at a shell petrol station, which chip had done many years ago, as he is ‘shelling’ mcs. And then killa mc. After that was this and then 10 commandments. I hope you enjoy going down this rabbit hole as you won’t be disappointed.
