Haley Reinhart owns this song. She makes me say Radiohead who!

You looked absolutely gobsmacked at the end ... hard to find words. This is such an incredible tour de force of singing and musical performance.

This is not a cover. This is not a tribute. But it's near the top of the list of reimagined classics that will go down as one of the best of all time.

Haley Reinhart is as good as a singer gets. there is seemingly nothing she can't do to tell the story she wants to tell. I've watched this video hundreds of time at this point, and she continues to gobsmack me. I am GOBSMACKED by this level of talent and execution. and you are right-a once in a lifetime talent here folks. get your tickets. step right up.
also Scott Bradlee who heads up Postmodern Jukebox and does all of the arrangements, finds the singers, etc. he is also a once in a lifetime talent in what he does. he is able to unlock some secret part of every song they do. they always completely honor and pay tribute to the original, but then they unlock some secret thing in the song that either was just under the surface, or hidden way back there, but genuinely always somewhere in there. PMJ and the musicians and the singers they work with are one of the most exciting things happening in music today. they have so many great gifts to give. Musically, they will change your landscape. they just are that good.

She's down a bunch of PMJ songs, but one of her own videos are just as good....my favorite is "Don't Know How To Love You"...FANTASTIC !!! IMO, she's the best female vocalist on the planet, bare none (and there's a lot of them) !!

For me it's the confidence that is in perfect lockstep with the incredible skill. She never backs down, never shows off, never tries to prove something. It's like being an author and having War and Peace in your back pocket. There is not an ounce of promise or pretense or perniciousness in this. Beautiful.

Your face during this was priceless! Same as mine when I first heard it. It's my all time favorite song cover along with Johnny Cash's version of Hurt. Absolutely stunning!
Haley did a PMJ cover of Mad World with Puddles Pity Party. Another awesome cover 💗🦇💗🦇💗

welcome to the wonderful world of haley reinhart. she maybe the best vocalist and performer of our time (certainly the most underrated). i think what is so phenomenal about haley is not just her amazing silk to sandpaper voice but also her character and soul that she puts into the performances. postmodern jukebox (aka pmj) takes current popular songs and completely re-imagines them vintage (1920s to 1960s) in the music itself and style of the performances that actually take you back in time. they have a variety of good vocals but haley with pmj is exceptional. all the other haley/pmj collabs are great but her other top ones are : "all about the bass", "seven nations army", and "don't speak".
haley's solo career is also superb. she has 4 LPs including: "listen up", "better", "what's that sound" and "lo-fi soul" and a recent EP "off the ground" for which she is currently on tour. her lack of mass popularity and industry recognition is primarily due to her resistance to major labels in order to maintain creative control of her music. this significantly limits exposure to tv, radio, etc. her biggest hit is "can't help falling in love with you" that was created and promoted for an Extra Gum for a commercial. it now has well over 425m views and reached double platinum status. it is stunning and frequently described as what love sounds like here. The original best version is here (th-cam.com/video/_uNpEbt7w_o/w-d-xo.html ) enjoy 😎

Post Modern Jukebox is the band, not a channel. They turn popular songs into vintage jazz blues and such. The piano piano player rearranges the songs. For certain songs they bring in Hayley Reinhart. Hayley has her own band as well.

Although Haley is best known for her Jazz, She's a rocker at heart, born from and raised by a Chicago Blues guitarist and a power vocalist who've been in a band together for over 40 years. I've followed Haley since she came into National spotlight, my channel has 12+ years of live Haley performances and IMO the best recorded example of all of the colours in Haley's vocal tool box is in a video she and her Dad recorded at Chess records during the pandemic, to help raise money for struggling independent musicians (you also get to hear Haley's natural speaking voice and realise that 'rasp' isn't a vocal trick, it's an extension of her natural voice)
Here, Haley covers Blind Faith's "Can't Find My Way Home" then she and her Dad, Harry, perform one of her best originals songs IMO, a bluesy "Don't Know How to Love You":

Fair warning, there's chatter before and between performances, Cheers,

I like her "God Bless the Child" improv with Irvin Mayfield, myself. . . . . Irvin's "trombonist" seemed to like it, as well.

Why do you Morgan James moonbats always try to steal Haley's thunder. If Morgan James was half as good as Haley, her TH-cam view counts wouldn't suck to high heaven. Go steal someone else's thunder, wingnut.

Haley is the VOICE master. The band members are the INSTRUMENT masters, and YOU are the FACE master!! Great reaction to this incredible performance! (There is no better version of this... don't bother looking)

PMJ brought us Haley, Morgan James and many more wonderful vocalists.......Scott Bradlee, the pianist, does the arrangements ( this one's straight outta' 1950's Tin Pan Alley ) and the band is top notch ! ........

Must react to Haley Reinhart with PMJ tunes are "Seven Nation Army", "Don't Stop", "Oops, I Did It Again" (wonderful vocal control), "Habits", and "All About That Bass".
