I know its an older video but i just had to comment that is sad we have to defend ourselves about what we get our kids for Christmas like the electronics. My kids have them and just like you we use them In moderation.
We started drawing names with extended family about 5 years ago and it's been amazing. Before that we were having to buy for all the extended family which was not only stressful but expensive. I do like that idea of writing down a few ideas along with the name you draw...I might have to suggest that for next year.

Santa isn't real
I have older siblings that have a different mom than I do. They were always at her house for Christmas morning and her Dad's house Christmas Eve. We always celebrated Christmas at our house on the 28th. I think mainly for the affordability of the after Christmas shopping.
Due to celebrating with each side of the family, we still celebrate Christmas afterwards.

I LOOOOOVE the idea of the family secret santa! The holidays can be totally overwhelming, especially if you're wanting to stick to your budget, so I can totally see how this would be amazing for bigger families! It sounds like you got lots of great deals, I'm totally interested in the little vtech play computer!
I love to watch her videos I'm a mother of one 2 1/2 years old girl and I've fall into depression from being a stay at home mom and i see her with 4 kids just loving being a mom it gives me some hope maybe one day it'll get better

nice gifts. 50 degrees is summertime here in ga. today we are in the 30's, but it feels more like the 20's. it is really cold.I myself do not but gifts for kids in extended family. I buy for the adults. everyone is slways buying for the children. I try to at least give everyone the opportunity to open something.we tried the secret Santa for awhile, it fizzled out. tfs. merry Christmas.

Right the Basket Ball game, The box on the Back Board is not supposed to be a screen showing the score. It shows where the ball has to hit the Back Board to rebound into the ring/net

Watching this for ideas for my 6 month old who will be 7months come Christmas lol I got her a ton but I'm also the only one getting her anything a lot of it is clothes and some toys but I love getting her toys that I've played with
Last Christmas I got shopkins and clothes and barbies and arts. Slime and a my life doll and a stuff for my dolls plus lava lamp shoes last tablet plus candy...... I love Santa and my family

Who's Santa? (Our family does celebrate Christmas but we were poor growing up so we just got food and books, but we didn't really hear about Santa)
hospitalcakewalk he's a old man that every Christmas cost children's houses that are good (only good children) and fills up there stockings with presents and under there tree, he lives in the North Pole, with his elves (who make the presents), the reindeer (who fly and guide his sleigh), Rudolph the red nosed reindeer (Like the song), Mrs Claus (his wife) and Santa Paws (who gives gifts to pets) , children write him a list with what they want for Christmas and send it to the North Pole via the post or fire place, if you have been naughty Santa comes but only gives you a lump of coal

He is a very jolly man.......kinda old Every Christmas Eve he brings good kids gifts and fills their stockings......but you for sure have to give him cookies and milk...... It's just a tradition that most people do....... I love Santa he is very jolly and thankful for all the good kids but be sure you asleep so he can come

OK I am single, 60 years old from a big family. We have Secret Santa where the adults pick a name from a hat and you buy that persons Christmas present, Agreed Max of £20. Children we all buy for, We only have one who has a Birthday on Dec 23rd. I live a 4 hour drive away and go up for a big family Christmas, (13 of us). I have 2 nephews and about 3 years ago they were still classed as Children, Both into cars. I had driven up as normal a couple days before Christmas Day and the first thing I like to do is top the car up with fuel, (I stay with mum and become her chauffer whilst with her). As I went in to pay I spotted some Ferrari caps (I thought they were some cheap copy), The amount of fuel I had bought got me one? So I pointed out that I could not put any more fuel in the car? He agreed to let me have 2. We went for Christmas Dinner at my older brothers house and after dinner we sat for a while then gave out presents, The biggest reaction from the nephews was when they got the Ferrari Caps? My older brother tells me they are proper Ferrari because they would never allow copies to be made or given away. So their best presents were Free from a petrol garage? I had already bought for them from a list we were all sent, Some thing else we do so we get some thing we actually want.
