Blacksmith hammer, falcon detect, and item enhancement success. Theres also blacksmith weapon enhance or whatever it was called maximize weapon or something. Lots of little hidden easter eggs hehe
Listening to this in work... For a moment, I've feel like when I was on Prontera and was about to ask my friend to go to Battlegrounds... The good memories...
Reminds me of the coolest damn RO player I've ever met... her name was Gionelles. The girl in this picture looks EXACTLY like her IRL and in game, minus the fact that she was an Assassin main, not a Stalker main. She wasn't the most popular girl out there, but damn was she the best of the best. She was funny as hell, really nice, and terrifyingly brutal at any given moment. She was explosive and crazy, but intelligent and could talk to you about absolutely anything all day if you wanted, no matter how stupid, how sad, or how spontaneous, and she got along with everyone very well while having a personality I've never seen any other person have. She was skilled enough to take on the entire Scaraba Hole and multiple MVP's with a level 70ish pre-trans character if she really wanted to, smart enough to destroy any class she wanted to in PVP with any class you asked her to, and all around just amazing. She had a very tragic real world past involving the death of her entire family and witnessing multiple rapes/murders right before her eyes, and thus she had a load of wisdom and experience to pass on. At the same time though, she was strong and sweet. She was optimistic and fun. Maybe I'm just ranting here, but I wanted to describe a bit of that one RO player I absolutely love. Does anyone else know a player like that? A player unlike any other player out there; one that you're joined at the hip with?
+Caleb Schubert (Sheats) I did meet someone like that. Extremely capable and astonishingly smart. Had an attitude problem sometimes and I had to help calm things down, but when we were alone I could see the vulnerable side of her heart. Knowing and talking to her made me want to be better, mostly because I was usually lost in our conversations, needing to have a lot of things explained, corrected or repeated. I was stupid, and it frustrated and embarrassed me I couldn't be at her level, offer better company. So I tried to push myself. Started frequenting bookstores to try to read more, learn about the world, practice my English, think critically, question everything. All so I would never find myself answering her "I don't know" or "I don't have an opinion." I'm not sure where I would be if I hadn't met her, but I know a lot of who I am today was shaped by that friendship and the impression she left in me. Almost ten years later and I still slip a few Britishisms while talking. Some people just never leave your heart.
HCSR2 Oooh, cool. =) Though, her skill level in RO needs to be proportionate to how badass she is IRL lol (Mob all of scaraba hole pre re with a level 50 hunter and nuke them ALL). Heheh, really though, I've met some incredible people on RO, and it's great to hear you've met some people like that too. =D
+Caleb Schubert (Sheats) Yeah, I know exactly what you're talkin about. I've met a girl called "Makkura Eilis". I was still lvlin my poor Sin and was about to die when she came out of nowhere and rescued me like a hero, lol. Since then she always tried to help me and just hang out with me at cool places where we liked the music or the athmosphere a lot. She was smart, kind, upbeat and always gave me the feeling that she was really happy when I came online. It was fun to explore the world of RO with her and to enjoy everything the game gave us. We ended up with a bunch of nice people and eventually found our own guild. I remember farming Phreeoni and Paper for their damn cards with her for ages and it was so fun. I still kinda miss her a lot, since we both stopped playing RO some day and we couldn't stay in contact with something like whatsapp, facebook etc. (MSN Messenger was the shit back then, haha). But RO always had an awesome community, I've met so many nice people online.
+Caleb Schubert (Sheats) Reading your story, makes me want to share some too. Approximately 7 years ago I started playing a private server. One of my close friend (in game) told me she had a friend who lives the same country as me. That caught my attention and I started to make a move to be friends. It was hard at the beginning but in the end, we became bestfriends. Despite of living 45 minutes away from each other, we've never met. At that point she was really ill, had a tough past and lost her fiance. So she was pretty much given up in life and close to dying. But hell, she kickass in the game. We were known as couples, and people said we were like "Get one free one" if they want any one of us to be in a party/guild. We had so much good times and memories. The best one was we were the first to obtain a Thanatos card that is considered OP in the game. I was really happy to achieve some great with her. Until one day, I went hiatus for a really long time, like 4 years. I came back to the server, and she is still there! Like, right there! As usual, she still kickass but way better. She could one shot on almost all the MvPs and able to kill the most tedious MvP in a simple way, solo. This is the girl that changed my life. I am so glad we are still bestfriends up to this day.
Recognizing some sound effects used in the game 100% Orange Juice in this music. Then again, alot of smaller japanese games seem to pool audio from the same / similar sources so I'm not mega surprised.
When I first heard those upgrading sounds... I immediately looked at my task bar to find "Ragnarok Online." I haven't played in about a year, but it was just instinctual to try and tab into the game when I heard those noises... Fuck.
Lucas Rodrigues de Melo Rebelato That's because we don't really just "miss RO", in reality we miss the simpler Good old times, when we played Ragnarok with our friends and the world seemed a lot simpler and happier place. (at least it is what I think...)
+Ian Icyhood Maybe. But me and friends still go back to RO every once in a while no matter what other game we may be playing. Just to relevel, hunt our stuff, do quests we may have missed, talk about the story, and of course the most important thing of all sit in the middle of prontera talking to random people and hitting on the cute female priests walking by. It's really more than just nostalgia, RO was a damn good game. The story, quests, and mechanics all really encouraged you to experiment and explore. Something that MMOs just don't do anymore. Some may have good stories and quests like The Secret World, or really great mechanics like Rift. But none have it all in one delightfully charming package like RO did.
+HCSR2 Yeah, looking through this perspective, i think you're right... I just replayed RO these days and it's just, WOW. I think I had Forgotten how it really felt playing with friends in RO(even though we mostly just wandered randomly around the world). During our random talks My friends and I started to remember how everything in this game is really well thought and designed. From quests to maps to plot's and history to random Npcs, It all adds up together in a incredible living, vivid and interessing world. Even with "Level up! games" (the RO publisher in my country) screwing up with player support and the game slowly turning itself into pay-to-win by gravity it still feels good to play. (until you start to go to PVP ou emperium war and the whole thing "collapses"...) Don't know why but this game has this "aura", like it's hard to explain but it has something i just don't feel in modern MMO's. I'm really hoping that "Tree of Savior" has this kind of "magic aura thing" too, so it can help to fill this RO-shaped void in our hearts. But thank you sir for helping "open my eyes" in the core of RO again! ( and please forgive me for any typing/gramatical errors since English is not my native language...)
that refine and skills sound lol
nope, that's falcon detect and ice wall sound
@@diwu3025 He was pertaining to the 1st sounds. whatchu talking about?

Such a great remix, still recalled back in the days of 2004, 14 years and running daim.
