"Where's this guy been?!" Well, he was in the military for 2 years, got married and became a dad 😌 and now he's back! His name is TAEYANG and he's a member of one of the most successful Kpop groups of all time, BIGBANG, who debuted in 2006 and still killing it to this day whenever they release new stuff (him and his group are so much more than that but it'll take me forever to list all the significant things about them here 😅 so I'll just leave it at that). His singing is the fruit of years and yearsssssss of training and experience, constantly improving everytime he puts out new stuff 💛
Taeyang is an OG.... legend of 2nd generation kpop, member of the one and only BigBang. They're massive in Korea, and we're the start and inspiration for many incredible groups.... including bts and Jimin. Jimin has looked up to him for so long so it was a dream come true when taeyang asked to collaborate.

Justin, just letting you know that TAEYANG was supposed to be only a rapper and trained to be a rapper first. Then a singing coach noticed that he could sing and that’s the beginning of his story started to become a singer instead of a rapper. TAEYANG has MJ, rnb, and hip hop influences in his music. You should listen to his discography to notice how he has improved through out the years. TAEYANG is simply amazing all around! They were all over twitter, VIPs were upset because since he's part of BTS and BTS has surpassed BB and become worldwide, they boycotted the song.Out of jealousy. Even on TH-cam, some vips were saying taeyang and saying jimin had no talent .Both its both ways, but thats a very small percentage, majority are supporting the song

It might not even enter Billboard Hot 100. Jimin is the only BTS member without an entry on that chart. So please buy and stream VIBE on all platforms.

Taeyang is the lead vocal of BigBang. They are called "Kings of Kpop"!. Each and every member is unique and extremely talented. They belong to the same company as Blackpink and are their seniors. Once you search for them, it's a rabbit hole! Many think that BTS became so huge because BigBang went into hiatus due to their mandatory military service (not taking anything away from the immense amount of hardwork and talent BTS has and put through to reach the position they are at). But BigBang is the OG and one of the very first Kpop groups to have gained international recognition! (winning MTV EMA for best foreign/Asian act 2011 0r 2012). Listen to their earlier songs such as "Haru Haru", Lies and their 2nd last album "M. A. D. E", all songs are dope!

Oh believe me they are doing their best ..this is the third time, first was when the company didn't release his song till late so he didn't get all the streams, and they seized his apartment because an insider stole his mail, not once but 3x and put all his public info on the internet, 2nd they didn't want his song on the album because of I out of the 10 writers had a court case pending and now they don't like Big Bang so Taeyang and his collaboration they won't support. It's an ongoing thing with poor jimin but he just keeps rising despite it all. I'm so happy he just ignores social media altogether and that his dream came true to collaborate with his idol Taeyang who all of BtS loves and respects, even jhope invited them to his jack in box party.

You're not the only one. People who knows what they're talking about keep saying Jimin's way of singing, especially here, reminds them of MJ. Jimin has really unique voice and how he utilizes it always is like opening a surprise gift box you know is going to be amazing but you don't know HOW it's going to be amazing. In this song he showed so much that i couldn't get enough listening over and over again and feeling like finding something new😭
Taeyang has been in the industry for 17 years, but he just finished his military service. Suga from BTS interviewed him. Taeyang will release his album in April or May of this year.

Taeyang is the main vocalist from the OG LEGENDARY boy group BIGBANG. BIGBANG is the first group to start writing and producing their own music. They also introduced the idea of mini album series and launched solo careers while staying in a group. They set the standard so high in Kpop. That’s Taeyang an OG of the 2nd generation of Idols, whose group, Big Bang, was the only other Idol group to have a lot of success outside of Europe and Asia (although if we’re being honest, BTS is the most successful of all Idol groups. He is Jimin’s Idol - the one he looked up to and actually mimicked from before his Idol debut.
This is a historical collaboration - they are the ‘bookends’ of legends in the Idol world…2 kings from different generations!!!

He is known as one of the most successful and well-loved male soloists in Korea (not just Kpop!). Try out 'Eyes, nose, lips' first and then 'Darling', 'Wake Me Up', and 'Love you to Death'.
I would ask you to listen to BigBang as a whole, because they have a great set of singers - songs such as 'Loser', 'If You', 'Blue', or 'Last Dance' are a great start.
That's a really nice lineup of Taeyang Songs. I absolutely love Love You to Death, and it doesn't usually get mentioned often.

(Forgive the pun) but I'm loving 'the vibe' of this song, it has a R&B type of ibe going and i love just the beat has this calming and relaxing effect on me and I'm loving all the oranges, red and blues in the MV aswell. Also it sounds so classy yet sexy and sensual at the same time, it made me speechless and just blew my mind.
Also the choreo is so explosive and what I mean by this is you can see all the different emotions they are going thru while singing. Also the beat makes me wanna get up and dance along to it.
I've been waiting for this collab like for ever as I wanted Jimins dream collab to Come true and it finally has.

Taeyang is my personal favorite member of BigBang. BigBang debuted in 2006 and they are considered the "Kings of Kpop"... G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, and Daesung. Originally a five-piece band, Seungri retired from the entertainment industry in March 2019.
Taeyang is my favorite because of his beautiful R&B type of smooth voice and great dancing voice! Listen to a few of his solo songs:

You're not alone...am so glad BTS has been able to introduce us to other very good artists... read about him after this drop his actually a generation before BTS was in a K-pop group that was big in his time, I think, Big Bang. Went to the military served out and changed labels to a sister label. Sorry, dont remember the name, but look him up if interested. as a solo artist. He has a wife and a baby. His friends to all BTS members but closer to Jimin, who once expressed his admiration of his work and also wished to work with him someday.... his a big deal in the K-pop world , Has a Good following , Jimin has brought him to his fan base, and we're, so here to support anything our boys ask us too.💜 keep streaming, guys ...
