That is going to be one good lookin' Demon. Reminds me of a couple of real car stories. If you want to put an HEI ignition in an old small block chev you just take a good size hammer and give the firewall a good smack - distributor goes right in. If you want to put a 440 into a Duster you use a sledge hammer and hit the left shock tower in the right place - stock exhaust on the 440 goes right in.
Too bad on the Hellcat motor, but the kit engine looks really nice too! Yeh good luck with this storm. I was prepared early this year, had all my ducks in a row by March, so hopefully we will make it thru once again. (I'm on Florida East Coast, just South of Daytona Beach) Thanks for thinking of us. I feel bad for the poor folks who got hit so hard just two weeks ago, and now they are going to get it again in a big way. It sucks. Look forward to watching this build progress! I'll be watching!
hi Ed...prayers for you & all that are affected by these hurricane's ...too bad that the hell cat engine didn't work out for you...i think it will work in the RR... i'm building a 68 RR as we speak one of the builds i'm doing for the street machines GB.. thx 4 sharing.. vinny...
Your backup 340 looks good. I like that Edelbrock air cleaner too. Did those cars ever have a 440 option? The Road Runner should be a good build. I had a 1:1 69 Sport Satellite at one time - same body style. Loved that car. Yep - I'm here in Florida too LOL. Demon is looking good ! 👍
I always have issues with 3D printed engines and getting them to fit. I was contemplating putting a hellcat in the 69 super bee and it just doesn't fit side to side. And that vast is freaking huge. Stay safe over there.
Bro, I would've traced the Supercharger of your hemi to the bottom of the hood..Cut it out and have the Supercharger stick out or add a Mopar style hood scoop..You could adapt a shaker style hood scoop or gone with old school hemi with the crossram setup from the Hemi Dart and use the Darts hood scoop. Just some things that came to mind.. I built a Billy the Kid demon with a Texas 3D Customs Hemi in it.
Love your videos and your personality. I live in Pensacola be safe where you are.I’m getting back into building again can’t wait
Please do!

Great ideas. I'm definitely building another Dodge Demon in the future.
The engine looks great. Stay safe. Praying for you and everyone in the storm's path to ride it out in safety.
Looks great so far. You and all of Florida is in my prayers.
Prayers for you and your family as well as any friends who might be in the Blueridge area. Stay safe everyone!
It's looking great so far, my friend!! 😁 And we always keep this whole community in prayer, brother, you're covered 😊🙏

Demon is looking good. The Roadrunner will be awesome with the hellcat engine. Stay safe my friend.
Keep safe. I live in Idaho, we worry about wildfires, and we're concerned.
Sorry about the size of the engine that happened to me a couple of times got to write that down in the master builder. ☝🏿
That sucks , atleast you have a back up plan in place and being that the original motor is already together you get to save some time in this build.

Thank you! I'm going to try to squeeze it in the Road Runner build lol
Manny sent me! New sub here! Looking forward to catching up on your videos.
Awesome! Thank you!
Dang i wish you could have used that hellcat. Hey stay safe. Prayers
It's looking really good sucks about the engine not fitting. Good luck with the rest.

Thanks! They had a 440 option.
Bummer it didn't fit. Hope it works in the 68. Stay Safe.. I'll be watching
There was a car show near us the other day and a feller had put a 392 srt engine in a 72 demon
Lookin good
Wow! I know it was mean!

Great point! Hopefully I can get it in the Road Runner I want to build.
As gorgeous as that motor is, I would consider displaying the model with the hood open, but that’s just me. Be careful during the storm Ed
Just think how the restomod builders do to shoehorn a modern engine into a old dodge!
Thank you bud but i got my bottle of bourbon im good to go lol
Good choice!
