I’m glad you referenced how much it is to get a custom head sculpt painted and rooted in comparison to what InArt is doing with these PRODUCTION pieces, it’s a huge steal honestly at that price

I LOVE the magnetic base - it's SO much better not to have the crotch grabber which I find to be extremely distracting. I do wish InArt had a metal disc that covered the entire area of the base to allow for different feet positions. Otherwise, this looks like the perfect joker.
I think this is the best approach going forward
I've seen on Reddit that people are complaining about the magnet being too weak.

To have the word ART in the company’s name, makes total sense. These are definitely pieces of art. The detailing on that Glock is beautiful. Rooted hair, seamless arms, and glass eyes set them apart from any other 1/6 scale company for sure. And to have each head sculpt individually incased like they have, above and beyond as far as presentation goes. Sounds like you like em. So, thanks,enjoy posing those ☮️
Great review! I picked up the single sculpted hair version. I agree the magnetic base is a pain. I found the best way to pose the figure was to do it without the base first. And then place it on the base while holding the legs in the position you wanted. It took some work to find the sweet spots. But I was able to get mine posed with the legs in a more spread position. I'm looking forward to Inart's next releases. I've got Aragorn on preorder as well.
1) I am a huge Heath Ledger Joker fan, who isn’t? 2) the rioted hair was almost double on the site I ordered from, so while a little high for 1/6 if go sculpted it’s around 300$ a figure. Not bad.

Wow, this level of realism you get for this money from Inart is insane and in my opinion worth it; another level for collecting 1/6 scales. I'll pass on Joker, but Gandalf and Aragorn with rooted hair are my first choices and instant preorder. I prefer wrist pegs for more possibilities of motion, but for some characters with half naked forarms these magnetic sculpted hands are very nice, even if these limits the posing.

I agree with everything you said. I have just the standard version and I dislike the base too, especially considering we have seen pictures and reports of the figure toppling forward which wouldn't happen with a crotch grabber. I also don't like that the weapons are die-cast. Plastic would have been fine as long as they looked the part. The die-cast weapons are to heavy for the magnets in the hands.
Agreed. Either make the magnets in the hands stronger, or make the hand accessories lighter in weight

Would you recommend the 2pack? I found it for $925 usd. It would be my last purchase among many other figures this year but I’m curious about INART.
If it wasn't for the JND coming out. I'd pick this one up. I don't normally collect 1/6 but these look amazing.
Just wish they would have included extra pegs for the hands , I mean, it's gonna suck if they go.
I dunno I think the set is a little over priced I mean these two figures look a little too similar to me. Think the jail look should have been more messed up looking IMHO. I think I can see why the rooted hair is a pain with the eyes maybe might get the single sculpted hair version
I’m about to get my sculpted standard version. And… I also ordered the rooted hair two pack. Oddly enough, I’m getting the feeling I’ll like the sculpted hair version more. May sell the main rooted hair version and split the difference (one sculpted and one rooted) if that’s the case
Great review man. But you can get the diorama into a detolf without altering the shelf. Just have to place the jail in the very back and slightly push the glass above to the front.

I don't know but I don't think that second body was that necessary he could have come with two headsculpts the accessories and the bases and it'd be fine I feel like they only added that body to inflate the price 🤔

People are complaining that this figure fall and the magnets are week to hold the machine gun. I ordered the sculpted hair, double pack but I am sure that they will do a better job next time

Personally I think it's waaay too expensive for a 1/6 scale figure. Inart should've given more options and just forget about making a sculpted hair version. Here's how I would've done it.
Option 1.) Street Version: One figure, trench coat, one not smiling headsculpt with rooted hair and PERS, gloved hands, no magnetic forearms, no handcuffs, Hot Toys style rectangular base, no jail cell or bench, and all the guns, knife, cards, and grenade rig. (I would've bought.)
Option 2.) Police Interrogation Version: One figure, no trench coat, one smiling headsculpt with rooted hair and PERS, magnetic forearms, handcuffs, jail cell and bench, all the guns, knife, and cards, no base, and no grenade rig.
Option 3.) Deluxe Version: It has absolutely EVERYTHING!
It's 350...for the regular sculpted. That is pretty much average HT price nowadays. The rooted ones are only a bit more expensive..I don't see why this "it's $1000/it's too expensive" narrative keep getting spread
@@DancyHercules3 Yeah, but the regular sculpted is average at best when it comes to looks. $1000 is nearing statue prices. I know it's reasonable considering how much it comes with, but alot of people like me are not interested in having 2 figures, 2 heads, and a whole diecast diorama. Give me one figure with rooted hair and a few small accessories, I'll be happy.
@@MegaManXtoys its the same sculpt for rooted and non rooted. I agree the rooted one looks better overall. But the sculpted one is the best sculpted version out there. Having to pay a $1000 to get rooted vs $330 ish for sculpted it was a no brainer for my wallet.

I missed out on this set and I have to live with it.
But I have preordered the double pack of Batman with Bruce Wayne, Gandalf and Aragon. Me personally I like the magnetic bases as I will be buying special display cases just showing these figures on a new level.
I love my dioramas, but with InArt figures they will just be in single 1/6 display cases.
Anyway great video and I agree with you the rooted hair does look better in my opinion.

It is still not clear, they have not said anything about it. In the same limbo is a figure of Superman, which does not specify which version.
I would love to see them making a Reeve and Carter Superman and Wonder Woman. I can't see this happening, at least just yet, and fully expect them to go with Cavill and Gadot.
Yes, it will be either BvS Trinity or JL Trinity. Who knows if it'd be Whedon or Snyder on top of that as well.

But wait they said the base was terrible because it was weak if you shake it, also your figure could fall over since it’s a bit heavy.

I’m still waiting for my rooted set. From most of the reviews most seem happy about the metal accessories but I honestly feel like it’s not necessary. Id be fine with the weapons being plastic so it’s not so heavy pulling the hand off. I’m sure if the jail bars were plastic that could shave the pricing.
I don’t like using bases for my figures. They stand on their own in my Detolfs so I don’t care about the magnetic base. I’ll most likely won’t use it.
I also preordered Gandalf and Aragorn. I’m looking forward to Wonder Woman and Legolas.

Great review only thing I’m disappointed with is you didn’t show it next to the hot toys version or the dx19 usually you do some crazy poses or next to figures so disappointed to see you didn’t hear but I get it it’s a very expensive figure probably want to take much better care of it than a traditional hot toys

However, I'm going to stick with my DX11 2.0.
I'll do InArt when they do a character that is a MUST HAVE!
Thanks for the in depth review. I like that smirky expression, not that I'm buying this figure at all. It is kind of creepy seeing those bodies headless in the packaging. Thanks for pointing out the disadvantage of having a diecast weapon. The weight always makes the grasping hand/arm sag, and apparently the magnetic forearms fall off. I was never really tempted by this figure, even as a fan of Heath Ledger. Just not my interest.
I think it’s too much. Maybe at 1/4 scale and it was a character I loved. But unless InArt does a 1/4 scale Mando with all metal armor I think I’m sticking with hot toys.
The exclusive also has a different portrait. It’s got a samurai type bun you forgot to mention. Awesome vid as always. I agree about the ES … they might do smaller ES now like the new Ivy

It’s a great piece no doubt brother , but very expensive for what is essentially a degranged clown😂 And I go way back to Ceaser Romero as my Joker 🃏, howeverI think for that kind of money it would have to be an Iconic character like Bats, Supes, Captain America, Dearth Vader, Luke, Wolverine, Lando or Ronald Reagan 😉 But as always, love your review! As for me, I think InArt gets too much press and not nearly enough production to match it.

I don’t think it’s InArt necessarily. Since they only possess the license in China, they’ve been shipping out their. If you ordered from outside China with a reseller like Toys Wonderland or OneSixthKit, then it’s a problem with them and how they have failed to prioritise your order.
Collectors: will inart be making limited quantities or they going to reissue in the future. Hmmmm. Time will tell.

No magnet problems huh? Tons of people have been complaining about the base magnets and for a few people the magnets in their arms didn't even come glued.
