I admire the confidence of Jill getting completely burned by the fireplace, taking a bath, and immediately returning back to warm herself up when it looks like it is 100 degrees outside. I see where Joy gets her confidence from. I love your design choices in this video, you would make a great interior decorator.

You could always do a small challenge where you slowly implement in other packs via a randomizer.

This is such a good video! Kinda made me want to try playing vanilla for a save 🤭
I love to have the fireplace in the house but every few seconds the sims want to light it up. Someone catches on fire and I have to place it into the inventory. I don’t understand the obsession with them constantly lighting it up.
They need to fix this 😭

If I had to recommend 3 packs for family gameplay it would be seasons, parenthood and growing together.

I have quite a powerful computer but I can’t play with all dlc. No matter the settings, it will always drop frames so I have to uninstall some dlc.. I feel like the game just can hold steady fps. Have tried on different overkill hardware and it’s been the same.. on series s it’s unplayable with lots of dlc. I don’t know anymore with this game
Hmm.. I'm not too sure. I can only go by my own experience and my peers. That's definitley something to look into.
@@oshinsims I’ve tried on a pc build with RX 6650XT 8gb and Ryzen 5 5600G which could run cyberpunk 1080p ultra settings without upscale with over than 60fps and while the fps would be over 100, it would drop so much, tried in a gaming laptop with intel i5 13420H and rtx 3050 6GB and same result, Apple silicon Macs same and Xbox series s same.. at this point I think it’s how the game functions..
@@Bluestarferies try to edit your software setting for the sims 4 not the ingame settings but right click and open your software from the desktop.

Are you using simp4sims graphics tweaks? Or any other tweak? Your game looks soooo much better than mine and i am playing at ultra. Thinking i might try the tweak myself.
Nope! Everything is set to high, except edge smoothing - which I have set to medium here. I use Softer Haze Sunblind lighting mod and an edited version of UrbanSims Gemini preset. I just have a little color/vibrance here :)
Wow it looks like it is beyond ultra settings 😮 Gotta look all that up and get my game to look like yours. Default ultra looks kinda dull 😢
I recently restarted my game and took all mods and cc out and honestly I’ve been enjoying it vanilla it’s still some lag and glitches but very few I’m able to just play and enjoy the game no rushing just letting the game lead and play out the story for me and its been refreshing 😊but I’m using all packs lol so this was nice to see and yes growing together is the best ❤ and I love parent hood too.

How in the world do you turn off the packs that you have?
I use James Turner’s website to disable packs. You basically put the command line of packs you don’t want in the properties of the sims 4 game. Visit James Turner website, the best way to do it ☺️
