5:47 for tiny holes like that, I find it easier to hear up a pin and melt through. Then you can use a drill bit to widen to the final size. I have far fewer splits or cracks that way
10:37 I recently learned about changing the supports settings right under where you choose standard or tree. If you play around with those, you can get supports that come off a lot easier and cleaner. Like 'snug' option for traditional or 8 think it's 'slim' for tree? Was a game changer for me as I spent waaay too much time cleaning off the little scars from supports that bothered no one bit me, lol
actually, the singular tree branch is kind of cool as a christmas decoration mode. i can imagine mounting it on a wall, probably in a corner, which gives enough space to hang anything of interest from it (such as the marble machine bauble) and designates a spot to put gifts and such, without taking up space or becoming a centrepiece in a living area (which, call me a killjoy, i personally find a little obnoxious).
15:31 I'm not really an ASMR guy, but there is something soothing and familiar, about hearing your printers going in the background. While I i watch this and hear similar sounds from mine printing right now too. 😂
Love the behind the scenes and problem solving style of these types of videos! Also, was hard to tell from the first video, but from this one, I'm guessing you could use other motors? (I was having trouble sourcing the one you used without either having to pay a crazy premium)
(would love in these types of behind the scenes builds of you explain why you go with one thing over another option, if there's ever a time when you choose one over another for a particular reason other than just what you've got on hand. Like is stronger etc.)
I think I might try and make this a kit people can buy for next year. Would anyone want one?
Yes.
Absolutely

12:30 for super cheap, slightly larger small balls, can use BBs. Modern ones are steel with a coating over

Need the world's new smallest 3d printer.
