  • I've been using the Saber Tactical Tank Bag since I picked one up at the Rocky Mountain Airgun Challenge in Utah last month.
It works as described by Saber Tactical:
It's large enough to fit a 9.0L tank.
It's OD green and holds up to a 29 inch long tank (tank and valve measured together)
It has two large pockets for accessories and a long velcro strip for patches
There is molle webbing to attach your other molle compatible accessories and a clear slot for ID card
Manufacturer claims are great, but is this the bag for you? The answer to that depends on if you want a bag that was designed by airgun shooters or one that was specified to meet a set of dimensional specifications. This is not just a bag that happens to fit an air tank, but one that has been designed to work with your tank to perform its' essential function...filling your precharged pneumatic rifle with air.
And when you aren't doing that it will do a reasonable job protecting your investment from wear and tear. If you want more protection, better buy a sheet of plywood and build a box.
The Saber Tactical Tank Bag can be purchased through Saber Tactical
    sabertacticalinc.com/collecti...
as well as top airgun retailers worldwide.
    A note from PJ:
I work for DonnyFL, and DonnyFL and Saber Tactical are related companies. Just letting you know there is a relationship there. I was gifted a bag to use. I have paid money for other tank bags in the past. Those bags are no longer in use, despite that investment, because this one has better features and suits my needs better than what I had before.
If you are going to take the time to watch the video I thought you should have this information, for whatever it might be worth.

Hey PJ, not that it matters that much, but is that material waterproof or water resistant in any way? It'd be nice to know that the inside would stay somewhat dry if I got aught out in a sudden shower some time.

      @WiscAirGunners  ปีที่แล้ว +3

That's a great question. I went out and dumped a glass of water on my bag. The strap material definitely absorbs water. The water beaded up on the OD green part. It rolled off so I would consider that at least water repellent. The bottom PVC section seems waterproof. If you put it on a wet surface I don't think any water would get in. If you set it down in a puddle I think you'd have to expect that eventually water would soak in, if not through the seams, certainly through the zipper.

PJ, My wife is rolling in the floor laughing. She is wondering how you could talk for 13:08 about your "BAG"!! She said, "it has a zipper" what the hell else can hey tell you about his "BAG"? Now i'm laughing too. I won this bag in a giveaway. It's a great, but my "cylinder" is too BIG for my "BAG"! I have a "FAT Cylinder", MSA 4500psi 45 min. Now I have to find a smaller tank to fit my "BAG"! Thanks PJ for telling my wife "all about your BAG"! 😂😂🤣

Oh, PJ. On another note.....I won that bag in the Airgun Nation giveaway. I was really excited, because I almost bought it earlier this year. When I got it I went to putt my bottle in it. I am a retired Firefighter and have access to outdated MSA bottles. My son is a FF in the Air Force too. Anyway, my 60 minute MSA bottle is too BIG!! I have to find me a smaller bottle for that great bag. I just put a regulator on a "little fatty" paintball bottle to use as a backpack air source. Old paintball bottles are great to use for that.

"Nice bag"!. I bought bags from China years ago for like 20$ each when I bought my carbon fiber tanks also from China, and the bags only protect them from scratches. The bags serve a specific purpose, but these Saber Tactical Bags are far more useful, and practical. Very nicely designed. I may very well obtain 2 for my 6.8 ltr-65 Cubic Ft CFTs. Ace Care tanks have been flawless for me going on 3+ years now. Zero issues I swear. This Saber Tactical Bag system will make them even better. Always looking for improvements bud. I hope they make them as well for my 2... 3 ltr Ace Care tanks or 28.5 cubic ft ea. tanks as well. Plus I also have 2 100Cubic Inch CFTs for backpacks while hunting which are awesome, and practical as all get out.. That would be awesome if ST could improve on them as well. 19.6 liters or 187 cubic feet of air @ 4500 PSI protected by Saber Tactical will be awesome, and very useful. Thank you so much sir. Wasn't aware of this bag till now. God bless. Gonna go check them out now. Take care bud. By the way all my tanks are carbon fiber...will it make any difference sir?

Very similar to the Camplex Bags tank bag but not so many tank size options, I doubt it is anti rolling like Camplex Bags are and way more expensive. I think I would stick to my Camplex Bags bag, never had any problems with it and super strong and lots more padding. Camplex Bags are a registered design throughout Europe so I guess the Saber version is only available in the USA?

I bought this bag, and it’s garbage for what it costs. The design is great, but the material is thin and mediocre quality, the zippers are poor, there is almost no padding, and it just seems like a $30 bag instead of $200. It offers no protection, and is useful to carry the tank and maybe keep the dust off the valve and gauges. It has so much promise, but needs to be better materials and some thick padding built in. I wouldn’t buy again. It just doesn’t live up to the DonnyFL brand. Love your channel though!
