You should definitely try to buy that unfinished mustang project from vTuned.I'm sure he would sell it to you because he stopped working on that car long time ago and especially after he see you purchased a mustang from Mtech. Also involve someone from your family to film and edit your videos (something like Goonzquad brothers do) because it will be easier to you to work on cars and you will get even more subscribers. You are doing great and professional job saving and upgrading those rusted mustangs. We are subscribed to your chanel and watching your work also here from Europe ;)
Its so hard to even find one of the original 6 cylinder muscle cars to do a v8 swap now as they all have been swapped. Its finally happened that certain styles are worth so much its worth the effort to swap the body to the fastback. I am a bit confused as to why they ever made the coupes.
Must have taken a hell of a lot balls to cut up you first one. Bet you could do it in your sleep now. Don’t worry about the haters. I’d cut my 66 month if I could afford the parts! I’m subbed!
I have a factory 67 dark moss green fastback mustang in my garage beautiful cars but don't see the appeal of converting a coupe I think a clean coupe look pretty nice too
The cars I build are mainly built for the working class guy who really can't afford a real fastback. Real fastbacks have sky rocketed in price. I have both. Real and converted fastbacks. Personally it doesn't matter to me what the car started life as. Just as long as I can enjoy them and others can too. Thankyou for watching.
how difficult is it to install mini tubs? is it as simple as cutting out a section of the trunk floor and welding them in place? thanks for your videos. I binged watched the past couple days. You've convinced me that i can probably do this conversion myself.
The mini tubs is no problem. Like you said you can simply cut out floor until you up against tge frame rail. I wouldn't go any further. Any more and your going to need to notch the frame rail.
damn what a breath of fresh air, brother I'm twice your age & haven't seen a youtuber yet that actually knew what the hell they were doing! I used to do a bit when you were probably your boys age, If your daddy tought you he did a great job, thanks for the awesome content!
I'm very thankful for what skills my dad passed on to me. There is so much this new generation is missing out on. Hopefully I can teach my children something useful along the way while playing with these old cars. Thanks for watching. It means alot for my channel. Other channels play with bubbles or have a sack race and makes a million bucks. I work my butt off and barely make enough for beenie weenies.
Who sells the silver quarter panels and who sells the black ones I noticed you said you don’t have to trim the black ones. Also don’t sweat the negative folks you are doing you and have a good business going so keep on keepin on. Like you sang, “Come on people now smile at your brother…..”
Ok so the black and silver can be bought at most classic mustang parts retailers. The silver is the more exspensive dynacorn and the black is the cheaper option sold by cj pony ky mustang classic industries holley ect. When ordering for now on ill buy the cheaper black ones. All those retailers also sell the silver ones also they just give you both options.
@@MrGonein60I appreciate your detailed explanation you cleared that up well, and gave me some of your time and I know you are really busy. That’s why I enjoy your channel you are real and not staged and tear up good stuff for views, you just give good information and tips.
@@MrGonein60I enjoy your channel it’s all information and work with no BS. I really like that you are teaching your son how to do what you do. My dad have me tearing into motors as soon as I was old enough to turn a wrench. You are an awesome dad so Happy Father’s Day two days early!!
For As long as I known as I can remember you been doing these cars I think you was 16 or 17 years old when you started now your brother and dad doing them I love your work keep it up
It all depends. A person can easily have 3500 in new sheetmetal. I get 2500 labor to cut a car and fastback it. Glass is around 1100 fastback interior stuff is easily another 2k
Right. My little shop is small time. I do try to do my best with what little tools I do have when I can find them. Thankyou for watching and supporting the little guy.
You should buy V-tunes Mustang and finish it
That would be great. I'd buy it. I doubt he would part with it though.
Don't worry about people complaining about stupid shit... Good job brother 💯
Thankyou
Just keep doing what you do
Curious how much money in parts are involved in these conversions? Keep up the great work. Another follower!
@motomarcel1 sheetmetal glass and interior 6k
Back before I got married I had a 390 S code fastback. I wish I never sold that thing.

I agree with you. I can honestly say I've never restored a coupe. Doesn't seem like anyone wants one.
👍👍👍👍👍🇺🇸
Look good 👍 entertaining to watch.plus nice to see the kids doing some good hard labour 😃

Great channel! I build and paint as well and done just about everything but a mustang. You’ve piqued my interest!
Hey that's great. I'm glad I may have got your gears turning. Go buy you a cheap coupe and get to cutting.

Thanks and yes the first one was when I was 16 years old. 21 years ago. I was nervous as a mashed cat.
I really liked seeing your 14 year old working on the other car right beside you. Who knows, he may follow in your foot steps.
I hope he does however I will support him In what ever profession he wants to get into. As long as it's legal lol

I can lose tools in 2 seconds flat. Spend half my time looking for what I just had in my hand.
Finding tools is definitely half the battle.

Thankyou buddy. Wesley says thanks also. He is playing car mechanic simulator right now.
Awesome anxious to see his work, something I've always lived by is the reason I don't know how to do that is because because I haven't done it yet
I love the old light green. Metallic color and I like ford Ruby Red Metallic
Ruby red for sure.
You just do what i told mtech to do well done dude amazing job i like t alot
Thankyou so much. I know mtech could have easily fixed this car. He does amazing work. I'm happy I got the opportunity to fix this old girl.
You need to get your son a pair of safety glasses also ,and actually ware them. It will be more difficult for him to build these cars with one eye.
He was wearing them.
He definitely needs to wear them all the time.
