You MUST set your spindle speed to match your stroke speed to produce a 45 degree cross hatch pattern. If you are running the spindle speed too fast for the stroke speed you will have a poor cylinder finish and a problem with your ring seal.
Very true, Mr.Arnone However , Ina hydraulic machine it’s a bit difficult to achieve perfect stroke speed as compared to a servo controlled machine, however the cost is also a major factor.
