Thank you Jess! Great pattern! PS I love Kassiah's videos and watch all of them, but you are the best teacher on YT 😊. I do hope Kassiah makes more patterns - this one is awesome.
Good job instructing, Jess! I made it using my domestic machine and my Sailrite Ultrafeed. The hardest part for me was the area around the corners at the handle. Like you mentioned, it is a well-structured bag. I'm calling it my lunch box.
Yayyyy! My box arrived a few days ago and has been sitting there…. teasing me that I should wait for your video! 🤣😂🤣. Time to watch your video while I lunch, then go sew it up after Whimsy’s workout! Thanks Jess!
You talk trough this patterns and sewing projects s clear. Love It. I wonder if you have also an tutorial from the case in point from by Annie. I would really like to see that also
Unfortunately, I haven't joined the bee club, but I LOVE the fabric used in this tutorial. Is there any way I can buy the materials you use this month?
I am so bad at binding! No matter how careful I am it still turns out bad. I may not make another one of these bags😢. If I do, I might do it a different way.
It is a cute bag. How do you use a size 12 needle and your Tex 45 thread? If I do that the thread will shred - even Kassiah’s thread. I have a BERNINA 880 machine and it sews through anything, but I sometimes have trouble with thread shredding - even when using a size 16 needle. Any ideas?
My machine would shred Tex 45 when I used some 12 needles too! I had to remember to reduce my upper thread tension a little, but then I switched to Top Stitch needles (they have a bigger eye) and I have far fewer problems with shredding.
I use a BERNINA and i use a topstitch or denim needle 90/14 with Tex 45. With Tex threads i try to get Tex 35 when possible. I also have to use a thread net and put the thread on a separate stand. Don’t know if that helps as well.
Jess!! You’re the best thank you so much for featuring my pattern!!❤
Reminds me of the ole school metal lunch boxes, oh my did I just tell my age😅 ❤ Sweet bag!
Thank you for the tutorial! I started making this on my domestic machine, and had to switch to my industrial machine to finish it.
Soooo glad it’s the Sue Sue Sling!!!
The pattern is fabulous. I made it on a Thor 1341 cylinder arm, had no problems. The video walked me through the making of it. Loved it. Thank you

Oooh, I really want to start on this months bag, but....I have a quilt on the frame that I HAVE to finish!!
EXCELLENT!!!👍

Did you ever say where or what your lining material is made from? I couldn't find it anywhere! It's so cute Thanks!
I believe towards the end she mentioned she used water resistant canvas
I think it is from wonderground fabrics
Jess, what sewing machine are you using ? thank you
using a domestic to sew this bag as long as I go slowly I didn't have any problems sewing it

Me too!!! Totally suck at it.
Me too.
I thought about doing it the way you doing when sewing a garment. Sewing and then folding over to sew again
Hi Jess!! I did not get any Decovil Light in my box! Aren't we supposed to have it?
I didn't either and was wondering if it was supposed to or not too.
I have a domestic sewing machine Brother SE1900 will that strong enough to use?
Jess, any chance I could get this months bag if I sign up for the club??? I love these!!
I have the same question.
Sold.
My box has been traveling the east coast….I still haven’t received it! Not sure what is going on with USPS - frustrating
