Hi Great video Our room is 12 by 10 approx 120 sqrft on the top floor but it's not facing the east side so there is no direct sunlight comes in the room, generally room is on the cooling side. Only in the evening between 4 to 5 sunset heat comes on the west wall. So as per ur chart upto 120 sqrft 1 ton is is enough but which star rating ? And for safety purpose can i buy 1.5 ton with 3 or 5 star which star will be better? Will be using ac in the afternoon between 2 to 4 or may be 1 to 4 depends upon the heat and at night between 10 to 1 in April may and in October otherwise will be using it daily or every alternate day at the same time just to keep the machine in running condition. #AskZen I have a pretty complicated query, I will be very thankful if you can help me with this. Current ac is inadequate, is replacing it a good idea? Details below. Room size-190sqft Direct sun- from east facing via floor to ceiling window wall, top floor room so roof and E,W,S walls hit with direct sunlight throughout the day. Usage pattern- every night, and also afternoon, evening on a frequent basis due to peak sun exposure. Specific feature needed- proper 2Ton 7Kw cooling capacity(if you feel a higher capacity ac is needed). I just want an ac which can bring down and maintain this inferno easily at 24° without struggling and running at the limit of its capacity. Good to have feature- hot and cold And lesser priority- smart features- Optional, can do without if model is perfect. 4/5 star rating preferred but not worried about higher power consumption, just want a capable ac. I already have a lg 1.5T(but rated is 5Kw) ac in this space and it’s struggling to regulate temp in this intense summer. 32° is temp inside, but ac struggles to bring temp below 28° when set to 24. Using HC mode back to back all the time only manages to bring room temp to 25°. Even an issue at night with zero sunlight. Saw your lg cooling issue video, full cleaning of both units was done by service tech and genuinely gas leaked, was refilled but there’s not much improvement, feels exactly the same as before. The temps I mention now is after all cleaning and refilling. I am looking into installing 3M’s heat rejection films on the window wall, but that is not going to happen soon. So not taking it into consideration currently.

Our room is 12 by 10 approx 120 sqrft on the top floor but it's not facing the east side so there is no direct sunlight comes in the room, generally room is on the cooling side. Only in the evening between 4 to 5 sunset heat comes on the west wall.
So as per ur chart upto 120 sqrft 1 ton is is enough but which star rating ? And for safety purpose can i buy 1.5 ton with 3 or 5 star which star will be better?
Will be using ac in the afternoon between 2 to 4 or may be 1 to 4 depends upon the heat and at night between 10 to 1 in April may and in October otherwise will be using it daily or every alternate day at the same time just to keep the machine in running condition.

What to about coating
Mera ghar bhot garam hoto hai due to sunlight. 6 month 10-12 hours chalega,,,aur mai Daikin Lena chata hu lekin inverter lu ya non inverter lu?kyuki har log bol raha inverter ka pcb damage ho jata hai ,,AP kya suggest karoge .???1.5 ton lunga,,,mai non inverter ka soch raha hu
1. bhai Daikin le sakte ho Lakin Panasonic 2 toh lena better hoga agar room size 150sqft se upar hai or exposed hai .
2. PCB only tab damage hoga jhab Voltage fluctuations hone jyada Baaki sab faaltu se misguided karte hai chomu log max gharo me Inverter Ac he lage hai aajkal .
3. Try karna outdoor unit direct sun light me naa rahe puradin thoda Cover kar sakte ho upar se agar nahi ho paa raha toh .

I have a pretty complicated query, I will be very thankful if you can help me with this. Current ac is inadequate, is replacing it a good idea? Details below.
Room size-190sqft
Direct sun- from east facing via floor to ceiling window wall, top floor room so roof and E,W,S walls hit with direct sunlight throughout the day.
Usage pattern- every night, and also afternoon, evening on a frequent basis due to peak sun exposure.
Specific feature needed- proper 2Ton 7Kw cooling capacity(if you feel a higher capacity ac is needed). I just want an ac which can bring down and maintain this inferno easily at 24° without struggling and running at the limit of its capacity.
Good to have feature- hot and cold
And lesser priority-
smart features- Optional, can do without if model is perfect.
4/5 star rating preferred but not worried about higher power consumption, just want a capable ac.
I already have a lg 1.5T(but rated is 5Kw) ac in this space and it’s struggling to regulate temp in this intense summer. 32° is temp inside, but ac struggles to bring temp below 28° when set to 24. Using HC mode back to back all the time only manages to bring room temp to 25°. Even an issue at night with zero sunlight.
Saw your lg cooling issue video, full cleaning of both units was done by service tech and genuinely gas leaked, was refilled but there’s not much improvement, feels exactly the same as before. The temps I mention now is after all cleaning and refilling.
I am looking into installing 3M’s heat rejection films on the window wall, but that is not going to happen soon. So not taking it into consideration currently.

Because of top floor got direct sunlight only the roof but no direct sunlight on 4 wall.
I'll use AC for 3-4 months for summer.
Use pattern - Day time 3 hrs and night 3hr
No room heat load.
