From what I have been researching and witnessing you can get a better launch time and shift points from the car by doing it yourself and not using launch mode.
Have to have everything perfect on any car to get Magazine times. It is common knowledge that anyone who picks up the same car tested from a magazine is not going to get anywhere near what they get on a perfect day for testing. Nowhere near.
