- The Day of the Lord & What Happens when God Shakes the Earth (Revelation 6:12-17). We are examining the Biblical Doctrine of the Second Coming of Christ. This Doctrine is taught in God’s Word across over 1,800 verses, with over 300 verses in the New Testament. The Doctrine of the Second Coming of Christ. God's Word is immensely prophetic.
When the Bible was written, it contained approximately 27% pro¬phetic material. Over the thirty-five hundred years since it first began to be written down, many of the prophecies have already come true. But many prophecies are still slumbering, not yet awakened, and launched into history by the Hand of God Himself. God watches over His Word to perform everything He has written (Jer. 1:12).
Our text is just one of those verses portraying an event quietly awaiting a future moment to be deployed, just as God told us it would. Revelation 6:12 (NJKV): I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.
Many Slumbering Prophecies: None of these seals of Rev. 6 have yet been broken and launched upon Earth. They still slumber like a giant volcanic eruption as the white-hot magma rises and slowly builds to an explosive force, just waiting to be triggered.
When they do, the superman humans have always longed for will emerge so that global peace & prosperity will finally arrive (the white horse). That deception of the first seal will be followed quickly by global warfare (the red horse); then by starvation & scarcity (the black horse); then by death & pestilence (the pale horse); and then finally by a countless number of martyrs who died for the Name of Christ under the reign of the False Christ, the Final Emperor (the fifth seal).

God moved the clouds on 10.31.18. He showed a plane with 2 bears heads crash between Mt. St. Helen’s and Rainier.
Lava started flowing.
Then both exploded and formed the Lake of Fire.
He showed Satan dropped into the Lake.
Later He showed a boat leaving a bomb by the Statue of Liberty.
He showed a wave coming up and over the Statue.
Los Angeles will have a “Reef slip“ and be swallowed up.
Jesus will be here soon. He is my First Love.
He died for us. If you don’t know Him. Please don’t wait. Eternity it Forever. It’s sooner than you think.

There was an awful volcanic eruption in the 7th century, around the Mediterranean area.
The effects lasted for 20 years, as it darkened the sky with dust, and changed a lot of the weather systems.
Those living in that time could have believed they were going through that stage of prophesy then.
As that happened then, with those effects, you can begin to imagine as to how so many of those dramatic events can take place.
Thank you Lord you do what you say, and say what you will do - and we can count on You, Your HOLY WORD, and every promise, plan, prophecy, command, and teaching will be fulfilled without fail, or change. We and all mankind, can count on foretold events, and every word from your mouth without fail, without delay, without error or variance and because of that alone we know truth - and truth is You Lord and your word. In a fallen, lost, sinful world you alone are true, and speak the truth in everything YOU say. To God be the glory, great things YOU have said…amen.

A global quake is highly unlikely. There are multiple tectonic plates and they are moving in various directions. They sometimes collide and create earthquakes.

Thank you John and about no prophecy in the Song of Solomon. I noticed that spikenard was used by Many to anoint Christ and so I searched spikenard in KJV and in Song of Solomon 1:12 the spikenard from the Kings table sends out the smell thereof and in 4:13 . Spikenard is mentioned and John 12:3 KJV and as he sat at meat in Mark 14:3, KJV reference. Is this a prophecy?

I have just added a note regarding the biggest ever noted eruption was in the Mediterranean area in the 7th century. The ash darkened the sky in vast areas of the Earth, and changed the weather patterns.
You can then only begin to imagine when the big one kicks in.

When that great stone, not made by hands, spoken of by Daniel, becomes undeniable within our celestial skies many will think of Jesus Christ. All the events leading up to its sighting will suddenly fall into place. Many will be comforted because it will have Jesus Christ's veracity stamped all over it. Even the Biblically illiterate will bow in repentance and match their good deeds with their sins because of their forthcoming Judgement, but it's those who have taken the 'mark of the beast' and aligned themselves with Mystery Babylon who will be the most fearful...because there will be no going back.

There is a prophecy in Ruth about David.

The book of Ruth doesn't contain a direct prophecy about David, but it lays the groundwork for his lineage, which is significant in biblical history. The key element related to David is the genealogy at the end of the book. Ruth, a Moabite woman, marries Boaz, a man from Bethlehem. Their union results in the birth of Obed, who becomes the father of Jesse, who is the father of David (Ruth 4:17-22). This genealogy is crucial because it links David to the tribe of Judah, fulfilling earlier prophecies about the future king coming from this tribe (Genesis 49:10).
This connection is important for several reasons:
Lineage of David: The marriage of Ruth and Boaz ensures the continuation of the line that would eventually lead to the birth of King David, one of the most significant figures in the Bible.
Messianic Prophecy: The genealogy also ties into the broader messianic prophecy, as David's line is the one from which the Messiah, Jesus, is prophesied to come (Matthew 1:1-16).
Thus, while the book of Ruth itself does not explicitly prophesy David, it is deeply connected to his story and the fulfillment of God's plan for Israel.

John confuses tribulation with God's wrath...
The great tribulation (first 5 Seals) are prior, and separate from God's Wrath, which begins in the 6th Seal, as stated clearly in Rev 6:17. When the 6th Seal has opened, the tribulation has ENDED. This is made clear in Matthew 24:29...
👉“Immediately after the tribulation👈 of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken."
Jesus also tells us that when we see the beginning of those signs in the heavens...to LOOK UP, our redemption draws near. - Luke 21:25-28 Again...this is AFTER the tribulation has ended.
While we will see the tribulation, we are not appointed to His wrath.
Who is opening the Seal Judgements? Who is opening the Trumpet Judgements? Who is opening the Bowl Judgements? Is Jesus not God?
When 25% of the remaining earth dwellers die following the removal of peace with war, global famines, and plagues not God’s wrath? Is God giving the world exactly what they want with the arrival of the Anti-Christ not God’s wrath?
Just because the leaders of world outwardly acknowledge God’s wrath as they hide in fear doesn’t mean His wrath is just beginning, they are just finally acknowledging what has been happening to the world, realizing they have zero control over the future and they would rather be dead than endure more of God’s wrath.
John is very confused. He believes in capital punishment, and has videos where: 1 he talks about healthy eating foods better than other foods, 2. how we should move to particular states where there will be more resources for riding out armegeddon, 3. he asks for people to start a religious war against non-believers.
@@Jo-tm3zq111You must be thinking of someone else. John Barnett is Pre-Trib, he teaches we won’t be here during the 7-year tribulation as we return with Christ at the end of the Tribulation.
@@MaranathaMaryKate Nope. John is a businessman using God to make money for his organization. I have seen many of his "sermons." He does have great swagger and is clearly full of himself. He does great harm to the true Church of Jesus Christ. I'm not judging him, this is my discernment of his words. Words are powerful.
@@Jo-tm3zq111 He has read through the Bible cover to cover and over 100 times and I have not yet found a Biblical error in his teachings and I do study daily. I have found him to be very humble and know a family that attended his church when they lived in Michigan and they very well versed in the Bible as well and the husband is an elder at a local church where we live. By the way, I do love that you are Jewish and found Jesus!
I have yet to see anywhere in the scriptures (or in Daniel), where the 70th week is called "the tribulation". That does not exist. The great tribulation begins in the middle of the week when the AC is revealed and he breaks the covenant with Israel. The "tribulation" is WITHIN the 70th week, not 7 years long.
The Great Tribulation is the last half and most terrible time of the 7 year tribulation.
The 70th week is 7 years long, just as the previous 69 weeks (483 years) that have already passed are each 7 years. The term “week” is a set of seven, so it could be 7 days, 7 months, or 7 years but because of history we know Daniel is referring to 7 years or as the Jews call it, a Shmita cycle (set of 7 years). We say things like “dozen” (12) or “decade” (10) but the Jews see everything in sets of 7’s.

@@zippy2641We call it the 7-year Tribulation, the Bible refers to it as Daniel’s 70th Week or the Time of Jacob’s Trouble. Just like the word Trinity is not in the Bible or the word Rapture (unless you are reading in the Latin Volgate) is not in the Bible it is an understood concept that is in the Bible and instead or rattling off a bunch of verses we say the name of the concept and people know what we are talking about.
Daniel 9:24-27
“Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy. “Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem Until Messiah the Prince, There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; The street shall be built again, and the wall, Even in troublesome times. “And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined. Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.”
The prophecy divides the 490 years into three smaller units: one of 49 years, one of 434 years, and one final 7 years. The final “week” of 7 years is further divided in half. Verse 25 says, “From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’” Seven “sevens” is 49 years, and sixty-two “sevens” is another 434 years:
49 years + 434 years = 483 years
Of the 70 “sevens,” 69 have been fulfilled in history. This leaves one more “seven” yet to be fulfilled, Daniel’s 70th week also known as the Time of Jacob’s Trouble.
