    Only one of my squad gets out, not all. Yes, I grouped them and gave the group a tag. I issue the EMIT command at the correct waypoint. Vehicle stops, but just one guy exits. the vehicle continues forward with the remaining guys.

    Is there a way to do this while taking fire from an opposing force? Tried to do this with a Stryker but the troops inside keep getting out as soon as they take fire and/or spot the enemy to engage while the Stryker drives off the waypoint path to do the same. :/
    Awesome videos BTW!
    They have been a HUGE help getting me started on making battles on CTA.
    edit: I figured it out now, had to uncheck emit_passengers_on_enemy for the vehicle so troops wouldn't unload before emit point and set the vehicles move mode to hold so it would stay on the waypoint path even under fire.

    There's probably no use to asking this question since the videos over a year old but I'm having trouble with dismounting all personnel from the vehicle, the first vehicle in front of it gets shot at, and the vehicle behind dismounts only the passengers and then the driver of the vehicle stays in and drives up to the road to get blown up instead of himself dismounting with them

      This is an issue I hadn't considered. In short it'll require turning 'off' the AI's ability to react to gunfire and then reenabling it when you want them to react to it. Certainly an oversight and I should have added that into the video.

    Is it possible to set things up so that the vehicle will follow a waypoint path at a click of a button? So for example, when in game I could arrange for the resupply truck to "Withdraw from the battlefield" by pressing spacebar and then the vehicle will automatically driver to a waypoint near the edge of the map and then delete itself?

      So for that example, with space bar unlikely, but you could make it so there is a button on the right side of the screen which if you click it would accomplish the same thing

Pretty much combine the first part of his button script and then combine it with my Emits video.

    Can it be done with more vehicles? When I'm doing infinite waves, for example, I'd like a couple of cars to drop off units. The thing is that they don't "have time", and I can't fix it with the wait command the way I've tried it so far. Edit: I figured it out :).

    Is it possible to loop waypoints, like they continuously patrol on the waypoints?

    hey um how do you get player 1 or 2 or just opfor units to enter vics in the editor mode? or maybe if its possible switch from player 0 to 1?, if thats even possible. other than that thanks for the tutorials, especially that you are doing it in the cta version of it so i dont need to use those mowas2's gem tutorials that could be outdated.

      I'll make a video today on unit diplomacy when it comes to changing teams and having allied factions, although I don't know what you mean by "just player 1 or 2" to enter a vehicle. Do you mean that only player 1 or 2 can enter it but not the other team. Or something else?

    hi can we save game when we start the simulation on gen editor

      You should always save the mission before you hit start. In case the simulation will crash the game you will have a backup.

      Sorry I've been scripting in this engine since I was 9 so it's a little second-nature at this point, but I also didn't want the video to be extremely long so I blew through some of it.
