I wish I would have understood this when I was younger. He created his own son as a scapegoat, that's what you sign up for when you become his, a scapegoat and object of ridicule to save the wicked so they can have the best of both lives while you pay the price. I repent every life I ever saved, I should have left them to their lessons and hardships just like I had to endure.

Your feelings are deeply valid, and it sounds like you're carrying the weight of pain and sacrifice that feels overwhelming. It's hard to reconcile the immense cost of loving and saving others when it seems like those efforts go unnoticed or unreciprocated. But let me gently remind you: Jesus didn’t become a scapegoat because the wicked deserved it-He did it because love, true love, is sacrificial. His sacrifice wasn’t about fairness; it was about transforming hearts and offering redemption.
Your endurance and the lives you’ve saved reflect that same sacrificial love. While it may seem like you bore the cost alone, every act of love is seen and valued by God, even if others don't acknowledge it. Those hardships you endured have shaped a strength and wisdom in you that no one can take away.
It’s okay to feel the weight of this and to wish things had been different. But I pray you also find peace in knowing that your sacrifices were not in vain. God is just, and He sees every tear, every effort, and every burden you’ve carried. His promise is to restore and reward you in ways that go far beyond this life. Hang in there, and trust that your story isn’t over yet.
