Nice this was helpful, I’ve been dragging him out to the edge from the start but you made me realize that’s kinda silly and it’s way easier to keep him in the middle until oils so you can also use the bubble. Pretty sure it doesn’t actually super matter but hey that’s 40% of the fight that’s way less prone to accidents xD
Very nice. I've been testing out Heal Quickness Herald and its been great fun. I'm a rev main so any chance I get to not play Firebrand is appreciated. Also, for the video in general. I love how you zoomed in with the camera for the entire fight. It actually made it possible to see what you were doing individually. Small note but I appreciated it.
Yeah, I usually tend to zoom out if I need a broader vision on the platform. Otherwise, Herald lacks Aegis, so if you wanna do Deimos in CM (unless you're tanking or HKing), you wanna make sure both of your sub groups have Aegis vs Mind Crush ^^
I can't link because gw2skills.net isn't updated yet for the June 28 patch. I'm running Harrier armors + trinkets & Minstrel weapons for the aggro. Superior rune of the pack for more Might/Fury coverage & sigils of renewal + transference. You can alternatively go for sigil of water instead of renewal. For the traits: Salvation: Invoking Harmony, Words of Censure, Generous Abundance Invocation: Cleansing Channel, Spirit Boon, Call of the Mists Herald: Core Value, Shared Empowerment, Draconic Echo You can have 30s quite quickly for most of your boons except quickness which is more like 12-15s early game. You can reach 25s+ after using Consume skills enough time. F2 consume on Dragon Stance gives you +6s quickness thanks to the 3s extension. Dragon + Ventari stance. If you need stability, take Dwarf stance.
@@OphisRenne Oh thanks for answer! Do you think it's enough playable or ony in specific situation? Never played as supp so i don't know what harald can brind to party except now quicknes and as you said stability in dwarf stance.
@@abberoon572 Yes it's playable in most of the raids. I played with that for all W1-4 bosses yesterday (You can check the Sabetha/Xera clips). Herald can give you quickness quite long enough & most of the other boons at max duration. Only drawback is that you don't have Aegis against Deimos' pizza attack. You can tank as Herald now that it gives quickness. In terms of boons coverage overall, there is no issue. And you can still give quite a bit of healing thanks to Salvation traits. It's no longer a "HK-only" role ^^ I'm running Mace/Shield (Blast fire -> AoE Might) + Staff.
@@abberoon572 Alac Tempest looks decent in upkeep. But if you go for Alac, your auras won't heal directly anymore since both traits are in the same tree :P

It's useless to move the boss to the edges yeah. You only move him to the edges at like 65%, before the oils.

Herald is fun to play with, just no Aegis against Deimos' Annihilate.
