Fusion remaster is a better choice. I don't want Mercury steam to touch fusion otherwise, cause they'd basically make it an entirely different game. They've said as much that they didn't like fusion and they proposed to reimagine it, which is how they got to do samus returns which was a meh entry in the metroid franchise(AM2R was better received by the community by a country mile).
@@mbt808 dread was great tho since they weren't limited by technology and an older story. They could make a good fusion remake with proper guidance I think
@@mbt808 I'll be honest, I would love a reimagining of Fusion. It's graphics and gameplay are good enough that it doesn't really need a remaster, but I did have a lot of issues with the game. Although it did have the best combat in the series up to that point, the game was severely lacking in terms of exploration. It was super linear to the point that doors would just lock if you weren't supposed go in that way, and there was almost always some sort of waypoint telling you where to go. Additionally, the SA-X and the Metroids felt like missed opportunities. You barely encountered the SA-X throughout the game, and after being told that there were multiple SA-Xs and Metroids roaming the station, it would have been so cool to see them showing up and chasing you as well as fighting each other as you run back through the map instead of just fighting one of each at the end. I feel like a reimagining could really help the game, while also not invalidating the original, which still holds up today.
@@TobbyTukaywan You can expand a game without completely changing it. AM2R demonstrates what a proper remake is. It expands upon the original but leaves the story and improves the gameplay. Fusion wouldn't need much on the gameplay side, just fixing of the walljump to be like ZM. Reimagines are almost wholly unnecessary and rarely do better than the original games.
@@miguelarenal8369 I'm sure you don't need me to tell you what that symbol is meant to resemble, so... just think about it, ok? You don't want people thinking you're a fash
Great job! You really captured the low-key creepiness of Nightmare
Low-key?
Also the militant undertones
This remix meets all the Crateria for being awesome!
Heh crateria
This is amazing! I'd love if Mercurysteam remakes Metroid Fusion in Dread's engine, and we could hear amazing recreations of the music like this!

Is great. The remix has a slight style to Prime, my favorite saga.
