Common cases include cast animation is way faster than MP Regen, usually Gentle pets regenerate 100MP per 1-2sec(?) so if your pet has 100% pattern it might run out of mana quickly especially in a party of 4 players. The MP regen does not scale with level but it gets lower with more players in your party. About the first aid, it might be your pet is busy casting buffs or sometimes a bug occurs when pet freezes/not moves when entering a boss battle.
This monster is only up during Spring Event but you can still buy it in Consignment Board by filtering "Pet Cage" and searching for the name. Also, there are a lot of pets which can be tamed anytime so consider them to avoid spending spinas.

First Aid is a nice skill, too. Since Justice pets rely on HP and Accuracy (outside of damage stats), I recommend increasing VIT and/or DEX.

Fusion pets take the average current level of the 2 pets involved as its own level cap. After fusion, the inherited skills cannot be leveled anymore.

yes, if I remember correctly, it's around 100 MP regen during full party of 4 if MP Gain is Lv10.
My pet gentle nature, skill first aid(10+clear mind(10)+restore(7), encourage(10)+cd(10).
