I’ve listened to his many renditions of this song. This one is now my favorite. Genius. Beautiful key changes and rifts. Perfection. He’s like a scientist of music.
thank you so much for uploading this song. i've been hoping that one day he'd pull this one out of the archives. i think it's one of the best ballads he's written. i prefer this much more to 'Beautiful Mess' which is lyrically and instrumentally beautiful, but the feel of it is not as raw and honest as this song. he doesn't let his voice soar as much these days. it is a wondrous gift, it can be the sound of hope, then resonate of absolute heartbreak.
if music producers were smart, they'd just put jason, his guitar and a mike in a room and let him sing. he's so much better than the studio/record company allows him to be.
3 years on and I'm still in love with this song. Kinda sad he didn't sing this when he was here in Singapore but your video actually makes up for it. Thanks heaps for this! :)
