It's got a little country flavor to it. I used to think it was Olivia Newton-John on backing vocals. I've always loved listening to " It's So Nice..." and Olivia's song "Sam" back to back. Something that I adore is that in recent film history, there have been two great movie "needle-drops" using Minnie Ripperton.
"Inside My Love" appears in Quentin Tarantino's JACKIE BROWN with Pam Grier. And "Les Fleurs" appears in Paul Thomas Anderson's INHERENT VICE. And the icing on the cake is that Tarantino and Anderson are friends, and Minnie's daughter Maya Rudolph has been Anderson's longtime companion for over a decade.
"Les Fleurs" is also used well in Jordan Peele's US, albeit for a different emotional effect.

Also, Here We Go from her final album. Her duet with Peabo Bryson is too much!!! She did this while dying from breast cancer.😢 My three favorite Minnie songs.
