Perhaps even more than nedim, he was abused and manipulated by his own mother, and totally ignored by his father, these kind of things are extremly distructive to anyone, His main quality is that he was still not like his mother..., he had terrible remorse all his life but didn't want to make his father and sister unhappy because of what he did..., He was extremly self-distructive, but never a bad person (and don't mention ceren, she was running to his room before he comes, she did it to herself, especialy the first time when He was completly drunk) The dude literally carried the whole show, he had the most interesting dialogues and was the main focus in the most important scènes (when agah learned about what he did, and when they discovered he was nedim's brother), nedim was an important element to the plot, but as a caracter he didn't do much, even when He healed he was talking about his revenge but we didn't see any plan in action except keeping his mouth shot from his uncle, and it was agah who did all the punishement Work..., it was nedim who's all caracter turned around cemre (and even with her he didn't have a big chemistry), cenk had a deeper connexion with literally everyone, (even his relationship with his father was more interesting because of it's complexity, nedim just started to create problems with his uncle from no where) ... And he had an effortless chemistry with cemre that's why everyone wanted them together... (i think they even had much more screen time together than with nedim)...

You're describing what he did has if they were small things, and his behavior is somehow justified because of his upbringing. He just wanted to be the focus of attention all the time. And then he was full of remorse the rest of his life, and was doing his best not to be loved by anyone because he didn't feel he was worth loving, he was never mad at his father he was just scared of him, and it was his mother that increased that fear (the episode where his father aimed a gun at him is a good exemple of that, he was not mad at him and he told his mother right after it that he wasn't protecting her but he was protecting his father and sister, and then when agah arrived to apologise he told him it was no big deal ) ... And agah being so strict didn't help him to confess anything to him, and yet at the end, it was him who said everything not nedim... Now that's a turqish drama, caracters gotta do some stupid and incohérent stuff to make the story last longer..., but at the end of the day, it was because of senise that nedim couldn't heal all these years not because of cenk, she was basicly just giving the same treatment to her son in another form, and torturing him just like nedim and never allowing him to free his conscience... (althou she knew perfectly that as a child he wasn't going to jail, and that the sooner nedim would heal the sooner cenk would get better) just to hide her awful adultery Ps: u don't seem to realise the agony of having constant remorse, and hating urself, anyone would be suicidal with such toxic feelings... At least nedim was at peace with himself

Режиссеры отредактировали уже отснятое, обрезали сюжетные линии, и сняли вот то трешевое, скомканное окончание сериала. Видно же что финал наспех слепленный, куцый и неадекватный, не дающий сатисфакции. Он вызвал недовольство почитателей "Жестокого Стамбула" , даже тех, кто был фанатом пары Недим-Джемре. зы. А еще, из сериала ушел прежний первый автор сценария. И это заметно повлияло на содержание сюжетных линий.
