Dunkey brought me here. His video though didn't do the pickles enough justice. This is definitely award-winning content
Mount Olive pickles have great variety of products. But they a great sweet little gherkins product
As a trucker, they are great to pick up from. fast load times. Good company.
I love reading truckers' reviews of company warehouses on Google Maps. Truckers aren't part of the company's workforce, so they are honest, and how a company treats them at its facility says A LOT about that company. If a company thinks that truckers' time isn't valuable, then maybe that company's products aren't worth my time either.
I am a Mt. Olive customer and have been all my adult life and I’m 71 years old. There is nothing better than thank you.
Has the quality went downhill as the company grew and product became mass produced?
They sound like a 10/10 company to work for and their pickles are top notch.
As a NC resident, I've been eating Mt. Olive pickles and relish my entire life. Back in high school, a Sun Drop and large dill pickle was a frequent and much enjoyed lunch. Till this day, it remains one of my favorite snacks when I am in a hurry. And their relish, well it ain't a hot dog without it. Love Mt. Olive!
Just moved to NC this year but have had Family in the Triangle forever. I was always jealous that they knew the truck days and times and could get the freshest jars from the stores…now that I’m here that’s what I try and do 😂
As a Yankee who moved to NC I stand by Mount Olive. Good stuff. Im Italian and even like the Pepperoncini!
@@myradioon go back to Yankee Town. !!!!! That's what all transplanted Yankees need to do. You've ruined NC.
@@myradioon go back to Yankee Town. All of you transplanted Yankees have ruined NC.
Dunkey brought me here. You guys sure have a KNACK for making pickles.
If Mount Olive Pickles was so good, why didn't they make Mount Olive Pickles 2 .
Bread and butter pickles all the way!!!💙💙
@@AnthropoidOne You do realize we all have different preferences and that that is okay right? Thanks for taking your time of your day to try to spread some negativity, it won't work here.duces
My grandparents and all their children made their own pickles. My parents made their own pickles. I've tried many pickle brands. Now, I buy only Mt. Olive pickles!
They sure make some nice products. Never been disappointed.
I like Mt Oliver pickles, it's what I eat. I took a dill spear out of the jar and wondered about how it got there. This showed me, neat.
Exactly what I'm doing.... I buy the big jars 4 at a time. So dang good, my favorite late night snack. Super good for yah too
i get them once in a very blue moon. they are double the price of every other brand.
@@BobRooney290 That's different from what I see, I guess I live in a good place!
I have traveled the world extensively and no matter what country I’m in I love pickles and there isn’t any better pickles anywhere that beats Mt Olive pickles!
YES THERE ARE.. AND YOU KNOW IT but Mt: OLIVE has Machines and I can get a Tonn gallon size so UMM NOOM NOOM
We were stationed in Spain with a couple who grew up in Mt Olive. Debbie and Al Sutherland became our good friends and next door neighbors. Debbie always said when Al retired they were going back to Mt Olive. If you all are like Debbie and Al it must be a wonderful place to live and work.
3:15 Oh My! I went to school in Winston Salem (UNCSA) and to hear this man's accent so pure and Mid NC sweet, it really sent me back!
What a thuuuuuuurough explanation of the pickle process
Finally a product still made in the USA!
Thanks. I made this video and I'm grateful you showed it!
0:42 Back when the only games were "Smuggler's Run" and "X-Squad."
We have a great supply of empty Mt. Olive pickle jars, the large ones. The reason we have all these jars is that we love Mt. Olive pickles. Each year, we give our local Blessings Shop' our excess empty jars. Sounds funny? Well, they love these empty jars because the customers buy all that we give them and ask for more. Beats me what they do with them. Pretty good deal, we are blessed by the goodness of Mt. Olive pickles and are twice blessed when we give away the jars. Thanks, Mt. Olive Pickle Company!
While I was watching this video, I told myself that I was going to go have an Olive, and then I decided I was having a salad, then I discovered I had NO Sweet Heat Jalapeño slices to add. Major disappointment, but I carried on. Next trip to my local market I will resupply and then some.
The Sweet Heat slices are so delicious and crispy and hard to resist eating half of the jar. Thanks, Mount Olive, for your consistent delicious !
Love the sweet heat Jalapeños and the Sweet Heat bread and butter pickles ❤❤
Truly the best of the dill-type genre.
I have been eating Mount Olive pickles for about 35 years! They are the best, I love the Bread and Butter pickles! I recently expanded my taste to include sliced dills! My mother use to can great big crocks of salt brine pickles! Unfortunately the recipes were not shared after her death. So sad! RIP Mother! Keep up the great job, Mount Olive!
Ray company a lot of jobs a lot of local God bless made my day❤❤❤
They are the best, If I went into a store and Claussen & Vlasic were giving away free jars, I would still buy Mt. Olive.
Very impressive operation. Glad to have seen this whole process. All food companies should do this.
my fav “mount of olives” since childhood in the 80s.
all the best from indiana.
These are our Favorite pickles! Thanks for the video!
Thank you for sharing this video Dunkey. I will relish this experience forever.
I discovered Mt. Olive about 20 years ago when I lived in Virginia. Glad they made it to the West Coast. Love them!
Its good to see that they have so many PEOPLE working in that place vs it being all amazon like and over automated. It means I can buy their pickles for the next 10 years and not feel bad.
Love the pickles, had no idea they were such a fine company, Happy New Year😊
I gotta say it's not just Dunkey, Mt. Olive pickle process looks slick
I bought two huge jars of Mt. Olive Kosher dill pickles as I like pickles...and these are the best...with the largest jars which I give to my nurse when I'm done eating all of the pickles...her husband is a 'prepper' and loves the jars...a Win/Win.
Love Mt Olive, only pickles I buy. Enjoy them all.
A great company and great products. Used to buy the gallon kosher dill pickles until Mt. Olive discontinued them. Luckily, they still make the 1/2 gallon size. In the many years I have been buying their kosher dill pickles, I have only had a few jars that were not fully picked and the cucumbers were tough. When that happened, I would contact the company and after giving them the product code off of the jars, they would send me a coupon to redeem at the store for a free jar. The picked yellow pepper slices are also extremely good. I buy the big jar and we put them on just about everything we eat.
Beautiful documentary on a great product!
I think I'm making a bucket list and adding Mt Olive New years Eve celebration 🍾 🥒
I’m laughing. I just ate a nice bowl of bread and butter pickles and I saw this video. The relish is great.
Thanks for the video. I have had your pickles and they are great. It was nice to see how they are made and also know that you are not some large company that makes several different products. Being a locally grown company specializing in one product is why you are so good!
Enjoyed the visit. Thanks for the video.
My favorite pickles and peppers are from here. The absolute best!
Love the garlic pickle. When I see those pickles, I always purchase an extra jar!!
🎶 Everybody’s talking bout a thorough McGraw, he’s making sure the pickles are as clean as your paws 🎵
I kept getting this video recommended and I guess Dunkey did too
I like Mt Olive pickles and have eaten them for many years. I'm glad I watched this video - it was fun and well done.
Bread an Butter pickles are great❤
I'm not a fan of pickles, but after watching this, I think I'll try Mt Olive pickles!
I was raised on yummy pickles! And live 45 mins away from Mt Olive
I love Mt. Olive products; I guess there are none I haven't tried. For grins, I just got up and counted; I have 9 jars at the moment, including sweet and dill pickles, candied jalapenos, relish, pimentoes, and gherkins. Vlasic doesn't even come close to being as good. What a great video. I think I'll go get a pickle!
Thorough and informative video...NICE !
This video really makes you feel like you’re a pickle packer.
What an awesome video!! Fun & informative! Thx!
Love this brand of pickles!🥒
😳 I have MountOlive jalapinos in my cold box right now. I have Great Value dill slices also at this time... 😯
The only brand of pickles I have been eating for the last couple years. Delicious, and now it's pickle snacking time. 🤤
My favorite pickles.
I can't get enough of the sweet heat pickles they are the best! And my pantry is always full of all types of your pickles😋😋😋
My mother worked at a pickle company near our home in western nys in early 1960s . They are no longer in business. Glad Mt Olive is still going.
Very well done! Might have to buy me some pickles tomorrow.
Keep up the good work you guys are doing a good job!
Great taste! Plus, they seem to always be almost the least expensive!
cucumber and vine?! that's adorable!
My favorite! THE BEST pickles!!!
Im a long time loyal customer...great product!
These are the only pickles I eat. I have a serious affinity toward the people down there in Mt Olive. Salt of the earth kinda folks, God Bless.
I have had them all my life. Love them. God bless.
I love Mount Olive pickles! That's my go-to pickle when I buy pickles!
Brings back memories when I hauled loads of cucumbers up there to them
I give kudos to the whole team that make those wonderful pickles . I live in Alabama and got to have those dill slices on my burger , bbq and just a few extra on the side . I like using the relish in potato salad and it's just plain good . Thank you for those extra good pickles :)))
Their pickles are delicious!
LOVE OLIVE BRAND ....THE BEST BRAND .................

Been eating them for years! Love them!
Love this video, and their pickles!
Mt. Olive is my favorite! Love this!
I’m excited about the new pickles!
The very best pickles !
I luv the individual cups, sweet and kosher dill. Great for lunch bags or just one person.
I eat a jar full everyday they are great thank you
I actually have a few of the pickle jars shown from when the company began. They're the best vintage jars in my collection! My favorite Mt Olive pickle are sweet gherkins! BTW, the reason that I started eating Mt. Olive brand is because other national brands contained Sulphur which would trigger a severe asthma attack!
I have grown up eating them. I love them!!!
Super interesting, made me hungry for pickles! I don't think we have salad cubes or those sweet and spicy pickles, but I wish we did.
Thank you so much🎉
I'm in my late 60's and this is the only brand of pickles that I buy. Wish you made larger jars of the sugar free gherkins. I love the hamburger dill slices I eat them by themselves as a snack. I wish you made those in spears.
I loves Mt Olive, best pickle in USA ♥
Everybody's talking bout the thorough mcgraw. He's making sure the pickles are as clean as your paws. 1 2 3 4 pickles in a row. That's when the big dog says "Thorrrrrrrough"
thank you dunkey
I love your pickle juice and especially like to drink the diced jalapeño jar's juice.
LOVE their pickles!! I always have a jar on hand.....😊😊
TIM MCGRAWWW
I hope those workers are paid well with good benefits and profit sharing
Dunkey brought me here.
The Sweet Heat Relish is my new secret ingredient in everything!!
I have 3-4 varieties in the fridge now. Such a classic southern brand
Mount Olive, Milwaukee are great on sale. I used to get cruncher spears but can't find them anymore. Course, this time of year I eat fridge pickles and onions. Oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.
You haven’t had a good bread and butter pickle until you’ve had a Mount Olive bread and butter pickle.
These are the ONLY pickles I buy, they are the BEST!
Mt. Olive is good but Bell View…chef’s kiss.
I gave this video a thurrrrrrrrough watching.
