When I tried this on a client, It all looked smooshed in the middle... Any suggestions?

Hi. The very first pony at the top. Try make it a thick piece of hair. Because that’s what you wrap the strands around. If the hair isn’t thick. Try crimping it. Anything to make that first pony thick. And don’t do it really tight. Hope this helps you. X
