I have seen at least 6 of this man’s wipeouts. I am not a psychologist. But……..this man enjoys the beating. A masochist. I hope he knows when it’s time to hang up the board shorts.
I'd always advocate extra weight on a big wave board... I've seen so many real bad wipeouts that could have been prevented with a few extra kg's on a board...
Ok serious question from a non-surfer: If you have shitty eyes and need to wear contact lenses, what the fuck do you do while surfing? If you open your eyes underwater you're sure to lose them. There's GOT to be surfers that wear contacts. Do they just leave them out and surf anyways?
Good question … I don’t wear glasses so I don’t know . If you have to wear glasses like prescription goggles that are water proof . I don’t see many people out in the water with those on . My dad can’t see either and he paddled out a couple of times without glasses on . Not sure how well he could see . I guess if you could feel the energy of the ocean . But I understand fully you’d need to see out there ! Sorry I couldn’t answer your question fully … maybe go to a surf shop and ask around there . I’m sure they’re people who surf who have to wear glasses .
