Hula ko lang to ah. Complicated ang concert library ni Regine (and even her discography actually) kasi iba iba ang owners ng video rights ng concert nya. May Primeline, Maximedia, GMA, Viva etc etc etc. Not one entity can claim her library. The situation is made more complex by the fact that the first 2 companies are already defunct, plus Regine is no longer with GMA nor she is an exclusive Viva artist. So for her concerts to be remastered, a single entity has to initiate to buy out the rights to release her concert archives from those companies (plus music rights, streaming rights etc) in order to do the remastering project. And that is such a VERRRRY expensive endeavour (high investment, low return), not to mention the complex negotiation talks plus the manhours required to do the remastery lol. If there is a single entity that can do it, it's Regine herself in partnership with the great restoration and archive team of ABS-CBN. Pero willing ba sya at ang abscbn to invest in it?
Si Regine na yata ang may pinakamaraming kanta na napasikat, concert na sold out, albums na nabenta, pero parang hindi pa din big deal sa punyetang pinas yan, parang wala man lang acknowledgement. Sya din ang influencers ng halos ng lahat na female singers ng bagong generation. May pinakamalaking ambag sa mundo ng opm. Imagine 90s 00s 10s 20s. Sya pa din ang reyna. Mga kasabayan nya waley na ingay, hindi na kilala ng bagong generations. She deserves better and the best.
Team mismo (Mariah and Whitney etc) kasi nila ang nagrerelease ng Mastercopy while yung mga copy ng concerts ni Regine here on YT e personal copy na nirecord lang ng fans. I'm sure malinaw din ang mga mastercopies ng concerts ni Regine.
