Height sliders ? There is a mod for that. In two versions : Moderate and extreme. For teen and older, in frontal view, grab the neck of the Sim and drag up or down. For children and toddlers, click between the feet and drag right to make taler, left to make shorter.
One of the reasons I went back to Sims 3 is the color wheel. Endless possibilities. Everything matches. And open world. Sims 4 was many steps backward.
And you could save those used colors! I saved so many colors I went back to later. Also being able to favorite textures and colors was so helpful when you needed to quickly add a texture or whatever.
We ALREADY have a colour wheel, but, it's ONLY available for the colour of the lighting. We need an universal one that apply to both CaS and build mode. When you select a given tint, have a quick way to apply it to other items. Make that a list of favourite tints. We need independent inside-outside swatches for all doors and windows.
Im having major burnout with TS4 right now. I downloaded the sims 3 recently, the open world is so awesome. I wish sims 4 was. Also create a world would be game changing.
I'd like for the sims team to love to be interested and test the game with vanilla not moded game and try to talk about filling the gaps what's messing and what's should be coming in a next update or patch , like the feature of : - turn on tv - wash face - apply perfumes

I’m sorry but if ea is in this for the long haul then they definitely need to go through every hair and add a color wheel and hair dye decals bc it’s one thing to wait for the sims 5 but we’re not getting it and they’re trying to keep this alive as much as possible so add a color wheel and such add furniture decals too and maybe some for clothes as well
I feel like as far as the Sims goes, it's just best to wait and see what we get, sometimes it looks like one thing and then it comes out and you're like... wait, what? Fingers crossed for a good 'what'.
That make me think of all of those mods that should not have a reason to exist : Bug fixing and bug workaround mods. JUST one moder currently have 33 bug fixing mods, and there are other moders doing the same.

I would like them to fix all the bugs they never fixed, and get packs like dine out and get famous shining again...bands would be fun...

The sims are getting boring to be honest. I just wish they gave us lots more to build and maybe make the sims more smarter.
Color wheel, too much, on build/buy? Nah. Girl, that was one of my favorite parts of TS3 😂
