This guy is a soviet colonel that specialize in training Russian Spetsnaz and KGB agents using the same technique, after the fall of soviet union, he started systema and is one of the founding fathers of civilian style of systema. But im sure you could have beaten him with a good hit to his face.

It's done slow for the grabber to get a feel for what this is. Later, people might pair up and practice. In Systema, we train in ways that don't make sense (to people like you who haven't done Systema). Later, these drills and the skills and sensitivity they produce are building blocks for combative work.
