- This actually went to plan...sort of. What a great day of working for Dirt Perfect and doing some dirt work. The whole goal was to move all the dead and busted trees from the tow of the slope so Jerry good take the D4 dozer and rough grade around the top of the hill. I tried to save as much as possible for firewood, and the rest got stacked into future burn piles. Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!

Cap’n... I can’t count the times that I wished I had a “grabber thingy”! In my book everything should come equipped with one... pickups, trash cans, boats (especially those gator hunting boats), lawn mowers, the shower (with a special soap claw appendage)... think how handy life would be if one could whip out that option every time they needed to take a holt of sumpin!
That was a couple of nice enjoyable days... lots of accomplishments with just the right mix of sketchy... and true to form.... something got broken. All-in-all a few great days!
I have finished the last wheel build video. It is set to post this evening.

Wow, whoever did the original clearing left a mess. I hate we didn't get to see more of Jerry working. That guy has some serious skills. I would love to see him on one of the podcasts that DP does. I'll bet that would be entertaining. Good job again CK. Stay safe brother.

I worked for a guy who never kept his equipment in the yard and wondered why. We were told when getting somewhat close to find a side road going nowhere and run it off into the pucker brush and leave it there till needed, I mean if it needed work then bring it in and do whats needed to fix and get it out of yard again. So come to find out, finance company wanted everything he had running to settle debts and so we kept it that way for about five or more years. Finally he started bringing everything home and what a pile of stuff that I never knew that he had. He had kept up with it all but just hiding in fear wasn't so good for him. Capt., you have a good repor with people and they love ya for it. People enjoy a positive person and your that kind of people so just keep being your humble self. I know that you love anything water so are you Aquarius... I don't have much faith in horoscopes but oddly those people who figure them out always had my number alright. I would sure enjoy seeing you with your own mill when the wheelhouse goes up on the boat bottom. You all have the nice hardwoods that is decorative and with your imagination could make a captains quarters into a must have for a mass of other people once they find out that captains quarters is just outrageous fine living. You suppose Mike will put you in the new truck once finished? I have a feeling that the first month might be all Mike driving and you stepping up to a excavator steady... there goes your part time to overtime job and home work will be on the jeopardy sides of things... keep smiling as it drives some people insane to see someone just appear to be happy all the time

Jerry takes such pride in his work. Never seen a blue bridge before. You so tickle me when you use them sound effects, LOL.
A piece of everything, sloping, excavating, breaking, driving, loading and more angles than you can shake a half buried tree at 😂 and could hear you loud and clear too !!! Shame it took a hissy fit on the dozer......

Well that was yet another, Bit of All sort's video, which was interesting to watch, And a nice surprise parcel.....
It’s crazy to watch letsdig18’s 220 just savagely rip through trees, then see the 140 here struggle to snap a twig. I get the size difference in the machines, but still, something is wrong with that thing.
Captain, I've seen others use the bucket as a hatchet. If you can come straight down on those "almost breakers" it'll chop right through to make two or three sections...
My media mod has a similar issue. The clips don’t have sound in editing software at times but the sound will be there after you upload

Here in Sweden we use a "roto tilt" and with that it's easy and quick to level and grade to the final result. One less machine on the jobsite.
That roto tilt cost more than the D4 dozer 🤷♂️

Nice job on keeping the trailer wheels out of the ditch on that turn onto the paved road at about 27:20, but don't try that kind of turn in the Suez canal, saw just this week that would be a bad idea!

This Volvo was incredibly underpowered for it's size. The owner sold it shortly after because of this issue
