    What a gem of a video John! Congratulations to all who are involved with the Fern Creek & Western for an excellent tour of all the work they have accomplished in the rebuilding of the railroad. They have certainly made use of all of the Covid-19 related time at their disposal. Great job!

      Thanks, Kennedy. I think these guys have done a lot of great work to make important improvements, and it runs like a dream. I don't recall a single derailment during the testing. Excellent job all around.

    This is about a previous video about 4 years ago you were in that did a Bachmann Shay conversion. It referred to a website, Rhyman I think the spelling was. The site provided directions. I could not find the website. Can you provide any info or the directions?

    nice looking set. Having 3 separate people controlling each train is good but I tried it the hard way by having myself controlling 6 trains at once on each separate loop, but have many times run many back to back again on only one controller. Can see my video kendra trains 72. The outer loop is over 500 feet long on the more recent upgrade videos. Had to have it raised track because of my bad nee.

    Is this all “custom” track? Hand laid..(ahh answered in video)
    Amazing amount of railroad crammed into a small space! Very impressive.

    Beautiful railroad but just one minor point of clarification Fn3 is not G scale it is F scale all 1:20.3 model trains are F scale and F scale does not fall under the generic G scale category it is a scale by itself.

    • @tsgmultimedia
      @tsgmultimedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Joe. I'm well aware of F Scale. The title says G Scale because that's a highly-searched term on TH-cam (by people who think all garden layouts are G Scale).

    Perhaps some day I'll have a place that will allow me to a G scale layout similar to this one!

    • @tsgmultimedia
      @tsgmultimedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The lot this layout is on is actually pretty small. They have done an amazing job at designing and building a very functional layout on it.

    • @tsgmultimedia
      @tsgmultimedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That should happen within a year, actually. We have talked about it because this layout is completely different now.

    Not sure if this has been asked before, but has your railway ever been the victim of theft/ vandalism? I see you have structures, etc right out the front of your house and can't help but think that that would be a prime target for vandals and "sticky fingers".

    • @tsgmultimedia
      @tsgmultimedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Anything worth anything gets put away when not in use. Most garden railroads that are easily accessed by the public do the same thing.

    Every normal person would not do this because:⁷
    1. The money spent could be better used⁷⁷
    2. The neighbours will not talk to a nutcase
    3. It,s stupid to invest your time in this no-go project.⁷.
    4. Evil people may steal or trash your hardware.
