    I think you look fantastic in all of those glasses, and that the black Marc Jacobs ones are definitely not too much for the office!

    I’m also a collector, but I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 12 and never could handle the dry eye problems I had with contacts. My glasses are all very bold. The brands I gravitate to are Anne et Valentin, Vinylize, SALT, Blake Kuwahara, etc. I love glasses and they are definitely part of my look. I match my glasses to my outfits daily!

      As a retired optician there's nothing I like hearing more that someone saying their glasses are a part of their "look". So you are a collector of glasses and since you match your glasses to your daily outfits I would consider your collection more of a "glasses wardrobe" . Being able have a "glasses wardrobe" has to make wearing glasses much more fun than if you only had one to wear everyday.

    Love the glasses, they look great on you 😎 I need readers but have a hard time getting a pair that does not press on my sinuses. I also have a pair in the car to read signs from far away etc.. have a great vacation 💖

    AS a former optician, now retired, I'm always interested with any video starting with the word "glasses" . When you say that you wear glasses everyday even though you're never seen wearing glasses in your videos. You aren't wearing glasses because your able to see close up without glasses. But you need glasses for distance. In other words your what we in the US refer it as being "nearsighted". Where your at you may call it "shortsightedness" . Either way is the same thing. Actually the medical name for being shortsighted is to say you have "myopia" or that your "myopic" Just in case you ever want to show off to your friends that might ask what you need glasses for?
    You said in your video that you always wore contact lenses from when you were seventeen years old. But what you didn't say was when did you get your first glasses? Generally first glasses are quite weak and you probably only needed them to see the board at school. Did you ever go to fulltime wear before getting contacts? Nearly everyone abuses contacts by over wearing them and once you started wearing contacts you probably very very rarely ever wore glasses. Also how many times were your your contacts on your eyes when you went to bed or accidentally fell asleep with your contacts on? Contact lenses are fine when wore properly which means approximately 10- 12 hours a day and not more than 5 days a week. Something you likely may not remember is that when you were only wearing glasses you only went for an eye exam when you felt your glasses needed to be changed. But when you got contacts you were then required to get yearly eye exams before reordering your contacts. In part it was to see if you needed an increase in your prescription. But the main reason was so the optometrist could check the health of your eyes to see if they were staying healthy enough for contacts. In your case it was you that started having issues with your right eye that had you going in to get your eye checked out earlier this year. So I'm sure you were quite disappointed about having to start wear glasses fulltime. The fear of possibly needing eye surgery if you were to continue wearing contacts was enough to make you never wear contacts again. Actually your doctor' or any other doctor, would have refused to allow you to wear contacts even if you wanted to. So that was life changing for you to suddenly be wearing glasses all the time since you were seventeen. You're right' glasses was now going to be a part of your new "look". and you were going to have to accept them as such. I really do love your daily wear glasses your wearing. Their a very nice simple thin, tortoiseshell, plastic frame that fits you and suites you very well. You appear to be very comfortable wearing them. Your already quite attractive and wearing glasses only seems to enhance your looks even more. But as you took those glasses off you were clearly excited about showing your "fun" glasses.
    why. I think your right about the Marc Jacob glasses. In my professional opinion they would be much better suited as sunglasses. Here's several reasons why. First of all you always want your glasses to accentuate your good looks, not hide it or block it. You shouldn't wear dark, bold framed glasses for that reason,\. They also tend to look "heavy" as well which I'm sure they probably aren't Also an even better reason is that I have never met a woman that wants her eyebrows covered by her glasses. That's totally acceptable for sunglasses but not regular glasses. I'm sure you can find someplace that can tint them into sunglasses for you. We used to do it al the time in our store. It's done much same way as dying clothes. The other Marc Jacob glasses are much the same as the other pair. They also seem to hide your eyebrows. I do agree that if these glasses would be perfect to wear to a board room meeting where you want to show you're in charge. They do have a bit of a power look about them. Yes they are a "statement" type of glasses for sure. I just can't see you wearing them when you want to look dressy or chic. Ding, ding, ding the next glasses really hit the mark nicely. I love the clear frame on you. There smaller as well which ads to the look of them. I'm sure they would be nice as sunglasses as well, but I really like them as regular glasses on you. The dark temples makes them look even better. Another ding ding for the next pair. I'm a huge fan of aviator frames so I was already sold on them even before you slid them on. .The thinner the frame, the better because the easier it is to see how attractive you are wearing glasses. You really don't have a strong prescription which tends to require bolder frames so you can easily wear very thin framed glasses or even semi-rimless and rimless glasses if you want to. The next pair is a goo bit like your first pair. Nice looking very simple framed glasses . Perfect for work or pleasure. I can't tell you what you should or shouldn't like to wear in the way of glasses. But in a way you almost make ir sound like because you have to wear glasses again you need to accept i by wearing big and bold glasses. There's no reason why you can't wear glasses like you wore before you turned seventeen and started wearing contacts. Your not your mother, Your young, attractive and you can look amazing wearing glasses. I think you would look even more stunning wearing a smallish semi-rimless cat-eye framed pair of glasses. Nearly every pair you have looks like the pair right before that pair. They are all dark framed plastic frames.

    do you wear progressive lenses? how strong is your prescription?

    • @soundmanpt
      @soundmanpt 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In her video she said can see things just fine up close just so well at a distance. So her glasses are still just single vision for distance. Meaning that she's nearsighted. I do think that it won't be long before she may start finding reading very small print more and more challenging to her eyes. She may find it easier to read small print without her glasses being on. But progressives will then be the better answer for her so she can keep her glasses on.
