The more reviews I see on the Shotgun the more I'm falling in love with it. Seems like guys all the way from London, to India and Australia are just loving it!!!
It doesn't disappoint
Got one in Sheet Metal Grey last week. Love the ride!
Good choice!
Never tried an Enfield, will have to try one one day soon
oh you must!! please try one and vlog it.
@@nicksepisode defo, need to try stuff outside my usual box 😁
The thing is Nick, arguably, the Shotgun is not better than the Original Interceptor 650
For one, it costs more, so you should expect better switch gear, upsidedown forks, and Navigation devices ect for the extra money you are paying,
It's all to do with seating position really, some folks like myself don't like forward foot rests,
I'm thinking folks who review these Shotguns and Super Meteor's get a bit carried away,
Because they are the latest bike's out,
The Ultimate Royal Enfield is Still the Interceptor 650 in my opinion 👍
And the Interceptor is Definitely Much more Sportier riding position that the Shotgun. (More prone),
I've been riding motorcycles for 50 years and owned many different types and sizes of Motorcycles,
And in all those years, I can tell you,
The Ultimate Machine is the Royal Enfield Interceptor 👍
Great video though, good to see you doing a decent subject again Nick 👍
By the way my Interceptor which I've owned from new since 2021 has never had issues with revs dropping and stalling?
It's perfect 👌
Cheers Paul
It's all very much down to opinions. Im just expressing mine having owned an interceptor. the first gen interceptor is better value for sure. Have you tried one paul? If not, please do and let me know. Cheers for your write uo. They are both great bikes, nevertheless
@@nicksepisode
I'll have to test ride the Shotgun Nick, but my Interceptor has had a fuel X lite fitted, DNA Air Filter, reverse cone megas, and it's throttle response is as smooth as a babies botty ✌️ lol 😂
I do like your video's, keep up the good work,
Cheers Paul 👍
That does look the nuts 👍
Got to say you look well suited to the Shotgun bud, it does look a lovely bike 👍
Cheers Mark
Sound good with slip on's & perform better wy the Showa forks.Chuck some headers on & got a great bike.
Oh a set of pipes is a MUST
Looks a step up from the interceptor to be fair, good job on the video Nick
Yes I agree
Am I dreaming? Just flicking through TH-cam and see this video? I thought you two had packed TH-cam in?
Just Jodie not me
@@nicksepisodeoh ok
I never had a stall issue on my 2022 Interceptor.
It was very hit and miss
Looking to purchase one of these myself for my first bike! They look great! However seems near impossible to get a quote for these in the UK with the bike being so new! Feel I’ve exhausted all angles!
Try the 350 meteor. It’s just as fun. Cheap to run and insure
3:57 Blue for me!
same!
They really are gorgeous bikes. Plenty of bang for the bucks I reckon.
But be careful Nick, you're almost becoming religious towards RE 😂
I cant help it lol
@@nicksepisodeyup. The more you try them out and start to meld with your own RE the more of a fanboy one becomes.
8:46 hi Jo!
Hi 👋🏻 you spotted me lurking in the background, I'm like Where's Wally? 👀 😂
@@jodiebloy hah yea. Hope to spot you again in the future! :)
Performance wise a very nice bike and I'm not keen on the all black running gear and for me its a real turn off.
It’s more resilient to bad weather I guess
Drives me crazy that i cannot choose between this and Z650. Where i live price is 200 euro difference
This - for sure 😊
This this and this, why ? Z650 engine is pretty vanilla, the shotguns is full of flavour. You'll get more attached to this, heaps of character
Z650.
From Malaysia ❤❤❤
@@Rasnaaa z650 review comings soon
@@nicksepisode can't wait. Like those two bikes a lot for a different reasons
Great video nick I totally agree much nicer than the interceptor.thanks foe the review.
You're welcome James its my pleasure
How would you rate the Shotgun to the Super Meteor 650?
Shotgun is better, the super meteor is great but puts too much pressure on your back
I know you and Jodie loved your test on the Super Meteor too....what did you think of this vs that bike?
This wins hands down, meteor test will be coming in the near future
@@nicksepisode oh yay!! Cant wait for that..and I'm glad you guys are kinda back on TH-cam!
@romeldias you just have to pit up with me, unfortunately, lol. U may see Jodie occasionally in a vlog.. in her own time, i guess. TH-cam has always been my passion, and ive kind of forced it onto her, which isn't a good thing. I do appreciate your support
@@nicksepisode i loved the dynamic...but yess no pressure...just do it because it is what excites you! I loved Jodie's story cos I was getting up from the automatic scootes into geared motorcycles at the same time Jodie was learning to ride! And seeing her just kept me motivated! So a big thank you to her!
Bigger bikes (ahem even the 350s are big bikes here) are unfortunately relatively more of a luxury thing in India so I still haven't bought mine! Hope to get that sorted out soon! Take care you two!
Nice bike any idea what the number on the tank stands for 🤔
I'll be honest. I have no clue
I believe it refers to the year 1901, when Royal Enfield started.
I believe it refers to the year 1901, when Royal Enfield began.
Nice enough bikes. No doubt RE have improved in recent years but I’d personally still opt for a different mainstream brand in spite of RE’s lower cost.
what do you want me to try Christopher? :)
@@nicksepisode he said mainstream Nick...not the largest selling motorbike manufacturer in the world....
Royal Enfield have Provenance, and sell nearly in one month what Triumph Sell in One Year world wide,
FACT 👍
RE all the way baby! My INT650 is my all time favorite bike I’ve ever owned on 30+ years. So easy to work on too and inexpensive.
Slightly better than the intercepter makes this the best 650 twin on the market. Buy it.
Glad you agree
Nice bike, but the MotoGuzzi v7 has more soul for not that much more money.
both very nice bikes, the ease of maintainece takes the edge for me over the v7, having said that I'm yet to ride one!
Ye - a nice bike. Also nice to see that Jodie is on the case too 😀
Since I can not ( the only dealer hasn't got it here yet ) try it, I'll ask : How are the brakes ?? - HONESTLY ! ( only 1 disc in front - for a 240kg bike...) ...
How is the shock absorbing ( front / rear ) ??
I did like alllllot the Interceptor, but the tubed/spoked wheels and the horrible ( to my taste ) seat didn't do the trick 🤷♂ May be this one will 🤔🤔
Pull the brakes hard ! And it will stop fast! its enough, trust me. The front suspension is great, rear not bad, i would need to play with the preload to make a full judgement. Jodie loves this
Yes, tried it myself that day and I bloody loved it!
