    Your knife looks bit hard to use I have a 12 inch ish butcher’s knife made by Swiss Army knife company and a quality steel think I could slice that thin with it
    I got similar slicers don’t know if i fancy cutting raw meat
    What internal temperature is the dehydrator my Bosch oven will do all temps from 40c 104 F

    You only dehydrated for 5 hours at 160 Fahrenheit?

    • @stevievsworld3949
      @stevievsworld3949  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's about right. It all depends on how thick you slice the pieces.

    Why does it need to be done outside and was it only 5 hours

    • @stevievsworld3949
      @stevievsworld3949  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry for the delayed response. The dehydrating time depends on how thick you cut the meat. The smell will permeate your house if you do it indoors. We learned the hard way.

    God meat in America is so cheap. That chunk of meat from our local bulk cut butcher would have cost about $160 Australian minimum.
    I do know Cosco is cheaper, but still.
    Pork fillet is $20 per kg.

    Dude, yeah, we noticed, you're wearing a $30k watch and feeding your dog spicey hot peppered dried meat while making jerkey. Not what one might refer-to as a frugal prepping, animal's gut welfare, type guy, huh? Anyways, the recipe and technique are solid. Congrats on your prosperity. Thanks.
