That first story made me angry. That father is the reason his children will now think twice before helping or believing legitimate AIDS victims.

I'm not sure paying for an AIDS victim's medical bills is a particularly common scenario, but yes what the father did was very scummy

I honestly don't think that that is necessarily true. Most folks are rational enough to understand that just because one person they know lied about something does not mean that everyone who says they are in the situation the person falsely claimed to be in will automatically be lying.

As someone with an egg, peanut and shellfish allergy too. It’s terrifying bc Kyutie is right. You have to trust these places with your food :/ I’m so fortunate that I never had to use my epi and always ask questions about everything I order but you can never be too careful.

Safety first, safety first, SAFETY FIRST!!! I have a daughter, and would NEVER do that. But, as a high school mountain climber, shop student, and later, an Army veteran, that was drilled into me, all my life I feel bad for him, too.. But still, I think if he tried, he could have turned his life around. But he either got no help, or otherwise turned it down.

5:05 reminds me of when I was 4 and my sister was 2.
We were in our parent’s bedroom, bouncing on the bed. Just giggling and having fun. My sister bounced the wrong way and hit the corner of the nightstand with the back of her head.
I will never forget that night. Blood and screaming and emergency rooms.
Thankfully she hit the nightstand in such a way that she didn’t get any permanent damage, just some impressive stitches.
I don’t know about her, but ever since that night, I have been hyper aware of sharply edged furniture and countertops.

Kyutie, it's not easy being an empath, is it? Great job on the story telling and great commentary. I worked graveyard when my son was little, so many days we would take the family boat out on the Columbia River. I could not count the number of times I stopped the boat and threw my son out of the boat. He loved it! I used to throw him onto my waterbed as well and he thought that was just great. One has to be careful with small children, but you have to make it fun for them as well, just be careful.

I heard in Britain a pregnant woman left her 3 y o kid in his bedroom while the window was open to bring something real quick. The kid climbed the window as many kids do, but was unlucky as he fell down the window 8 floors to his death. The mother fainted and had a miscarriage from shock, became kinda crazy, and the father was arrested and imprisoned for whatever fucked up reason the court blamed him for this accident.

@coleprousesleftbigtoe3644 I might. I've had an Epipen before, and I coded 4 times from it! They do as many medical procedures with me awake as they can. I don't get any freezing at the dentist! I recently had to get a breast biopsy and a lumpectomy for my breast cancer fully conscious no freezing, sedation or anything. I was the first person in 30 years to do it with nothing. This has been my whole life so I'm use to it. I have 4 cancers and 6 autoimmune disorders so I can die at any time anyway.

Sixth story: Tragic and stupid. Seventh story: More stupidity. Always stop and render aid. Eighth story: Always take your medicine. Ninth story: Terribly stupid. Tenth story: Unbelievably stupid. Eleventh story: Absolutely stupid. Twelfth story: Terrible.

How are you doing my dear sweet friend? How are you feeling? In the very first story, the dad is a complete low-life for taken advantage of and using his kids like that. His kids were paying for everything hoping and praying that he would somehow feel better. The dad needs serious help for real lying like that about something extremely serious too. In the second story, I say give that man life because he took four lives all because he chose to drink and drive. In the third story, that teacher is a hero because he saved those girls lives, and as for that woman was speeding lock her up and throw away the key. Driving is a privilege not a necessity. In the fourth story, that serves him right play stupid games you're going to suffer the consequences. In the fifth story, that is so horrible and just to thin before any of this ever happened or took place he might've been an incredible dad. The whole is just so sad and truly heartbreaking. I love you so much!! Have a great weekend!! Stay safe!!

The drunk driver who killed his 4 friends is similar to this guy from my hs who got drunk and drove himself and his 4 other friends off a bridge in the highway. I often wonder what those 5 people thought on their last seconds when they realized they were in the air.

I have a nephew whose mildly allergic to apples. From what I'm told he only gets rashes around the mouth but I have heard that even mild allergies can later on become life threatening. I keep trying to convince my family to get an EpiPen just in case but because it's so mild they're not concerned. Do you need a doctors permission to get one or can you just buy them? And do they need to be stored in a certain way?

    • @Kal-213
      @Kal-213 ปีที่แล้ว +2

I think you need to see a doctor to get one, and I'm pretty sure they have to be stored in a cool, dark place. Not a fridge, but just in a case or cabinet or something so they don't overheat or get too cold. Hope your nephew can get one. Allergies are no joke.

That driver that sped up to overtake another car in a zone where there's crosswalks and people around... Just OMG that is some insane reckless driving on her part. Why do something like that? Why? She almost crippled/killed a whole football team of young students but ended up crippling the coach instead(which isn't any better). That lady should never be allowed to drive ever again like she obviously has zero regard for pedestrians safety. Did you know that pedestrians are statistically hit way more by cars when they are using crosswalks? In my small town I know 3 people of the top of my head that was hurt/killed when using the crosswalk. I feel like it's a combination of people feeling more safe when using a crosswalk compared to jaywalking so they might not check for cars as much and walk more slow maybe? And then when there's much traffic some cars are sometimes driving crazy and can easily miss a person walking cuz the person is hidden behind another car or something like that... That's why you shouldn't drive crazy to begin with and slow down when you are in a pedestrian heavy area. I've seen people that drive like her in trafic where they only care about being first and will do dangerous maneuvers just to get past everyone going back and forth switching lanes constantly. If they are too busy doing stuff like that and trying to not bump into other cars while doing so of course they will probably miss someone crossing the road cuz they are looking at cars and not the road or checking for people... Goddamn.

I do not know the level of injury that heroic teacher endured, but there are desks that work with wheelchairs. I can't imagine being able to walk then suddenly losing that. I'm honestly glad I didn't experience a loss like that and have always needed a wheelchair.

    Drugs ruin so many lives.
    A lot of dead friends.
2 suffered drug induced psychosis. Delusional and paranoid. One of them murdered my best friend, and he killed himself in jail. As far as I know, he never regained his sanity.
Another close friend donated her kidney, since then her life was completely detailed and she has a long list of health problems resulting either directly or indirectly from that one impulsice, generous act ( including the same illness as the recipient of her kidney. )
She has rebuilt a life she values, but her physical limitations definitely hold her back and might eventually kill her.

Maybe it's just me but I would think the driver AND school would be responsible for the teacher's medical bills. The principal "didn't want to pay for 2 buses" so they had to walk a mile for a field trip? Completely disregards safety of students AND staff.

Ive been around guns since about the age of the kids in the story where the one shot his friend. I have to say it was irresponsible not to lock up the shotgun. The brother left it lie and the parents never taught the younger kid gun safety? I would never have played with a loaded firearm and neither would my brothers even at the most impulsive ages. We were taught well and repeatedly that guns were NOT toys and to always check if a gun is loaded when picking it up. If any of us had acted that stupid, even if no one got hurt, we wouldve been spanked hard and grounded until we moved out. Nevermind actually harming someone and going to juvie. The most irresponsible party here was the brother of the shooter, as well as the parents for not teaching the younger that guns arent toys. Yes it was stupid of them to play around with it but if it had been locked up they wouldve found a less harmful stupid thing to do. And the kid wouldnt have had to grow up with permanent brain damage.
