I really prefer my Nanoleaf Shapes Hexagons. Got 12 panels of them in my living room since last week and really love them. To my opinion you need to many of the Lines to create some great looking combinations. Like the example at about 10:18. Looks great but would be soooo expensive. Lots of love from Germany. Great chanel btw.... 👍🏼
Really great video. I can only imagine the amount of time that went into this. Thank you for helping me decide on which Nanoleaf I want. Earned yourself another sub.
Can the lines be connected to the other shapes? Like, can I connect a line to a hexagon or a triangle? I dont see anyone doing this. So my assumption is no.
If I mount these on my ceiling (or wall..), possibly with 1 or 2 expansion packs, would you think they would be bright enough to function as my main/only light in a room?
it's honestly hard to say what is bright enough for an individual. For me even the 9-lines are enough for me to use as a work light in the evenings. :) Hope this helps !
Guess the skin is just an additional cash cow for Nanoleaf. Consumers are not likely to change colour of the stripe and thus would it not be better to paint them to the preferred colour before setting up?
**Typo: the Nanoleaf Lines starter kit is $339 not $399*
the shopee codes are no longer working? Possible to get nanoleaf to renew it?
2:24 this one cap is so difficult to snap on ...
Great review, thanks for sharing your thoughts

Yes totally agree! It takes alot of these lights to make an impressive display. Thanks for the comments!

The connectors are very different, so no you can’t :)

I'm planning to do just that!
Great video. Do you know if these can work with motion sensors or contact sensors for home automation?
Can they only be controlled by the app or can you use an actual physical interface like their tiles?

@@ShawnKoh sorry! Missed that bit!
what do you reckon is better? the shapes or the lines
like which do you yourself prefer
Hmmmm as a display, the Lines look amazing, but if you want to use it for task lighting, then the hexagons are brighter and more evenly lit!
Hey , great video 💯 I’m building 54 lines and how’s the power supply work ?
Wow! I believe Nanoleaf has ratings for that, like how many lines to one power source. I'm not sure of that myself :)
@@ShawnKoh I see I see , cuz I tried to contact their customer service , still not getting any answers from them 😵💫
Solid review
Cheers!
