Sweet jump man! Please be careful with the T shirt though. During my AFF my jumpsuit unzipped and covered my handles, it was pretty scary. If I had had a high speed mal it would have taken awhile to chop. Anyways, looks like you had fun!
Anyone whos been skydiving will know it's not fake, the way the cameraman gets the angle is that there's a bar ontop of the plane, he reaches round to grab it and stands out onto the outside of the plane. They do it when recording all skydive jumps :]
at high altitude the ground does not appear to move... if you are driving in a car, a tree closer to the road is going to appear to move past faster than a tree farther from the road for how high a plane flies during a jump the ground appears to move past very slow (and to you apparently, not at all)
@criminalfish description says this is some1s 10th jump, studetns, pple with less than 25 to get their are required to pull at 3500feet or higher, once u have D license, 500 jumps, u can pull at 2k which is about 11 seconds from splat if u dont do anything.
if i was an instructor, i would tell my students not to have a very fast and bad quality wave and pull but to make it slow and have good quality. blue sky's!!!

haha! Its funny reading comments from "well educated people" who doesnt seem to have any grip on reality. I am a skydiver myself with 110 jumps, and i can honestly say this is not fake. I know how a person look and react to movements in freefall, and this is as real as it gets. The cameraguy is standing with one foot in the corner and holding on with his hand on a griphandle on the outside. The other foot hanging freely. I have done that many times myself.. This is not fake guys, get over it.
@beshtya I think he said something about a 360 flip witch is a skateboarding trick. I think hes just wearing his skateboard helmet just for fun. I dont know though. Im just speculatin....lol
@jjswimmer2014 Who knows? Maybe. But it would certainly help if you hit the tail assembly on exit or got elbowed in the head in the tight confines of the plane. (As I have had happen to me). A bad landing tumble, you'd want a helmet on.
First of all, if this was a fake video, kudos to madmachinist, because he must have had a pretty sick setup in his houese to be doing flips and pulling parachutes in front of a green screen. "C-"? I'd give it an A+ for well display of ground staying still like it should. And second, if you can pull off a video anywhere near what machinist did, please do. I would love to see you skydiving over a ground that is going hundreds of miles per hour underneath you, Math Major.

How old are you and where do you live? And no i'm not a rapeist or anything, it just certain states have different skydiving ages. I live in Florida which sucks because you have to be 18 to jump here where in some other states you only have to be 16. Well only one and a half more years to go before I'll be sufing the skies! where is the fake? i have done my AFF for a couple of weeks and i have done at my first solo :a dive exit , backflips, tracking! but i think you are never jumped out of a plan ....believe me ..there is no fake nice jump and blue skies

@jjswimmer2014 Unless I'm mistaken, it's to protect your head should you find yourself in trees or other obstacles after the canopy has opened.

in case of a malfunction, if something goes wrong your going to want that extra time to try and solve the problem ;)
