The animation reminds me of my 106 recoiless gun crew I commanded and the misses we sometimes had inspite of our spotting rifle and the AP rounds that bounced off the target range derelicts.

Was pretty intense at the beginning they were shooting tennis balls :) but then i see even some of your shots bounce off or glance , I still really like it , once polished it should be amazing !

a tracked dreadnaught to be sure. one of these things could have(and probably did) destroy the fighting power of a whole regiment. the only problem was the russkies had almost a bottomless pit of them.

How are you able to spin the turret like that? And aim so precisely? I have the default Pzkw 3and T-34 in Bos but it takes sweeping the mouse forever to turn it where I want to. And when I do get a target the sight wanders all over the place. Do you get better control when you buy Tank Crew?
I dunno, but I reckon the sight aiming system may have changed since this video.

I did not know that with IL 46 we can use battle tanks: I thought it was only an aerial simulation how to drive a tiger tank?

How good is the son factor in this game? I played the flying part and was impressed by the damage and physics models in the game. Is the tank part as good? (E.g. parts can be damaged, damage has a impact on performance, tracks can be blown of etc)

The tank part's pretty bloody good - but its at the beginning of its development. Good things further in future I predict.

dasSofa I don't have much experience with flight sim's. More the "ground pounder" type of sim player (Steel Beasts 2 Pro PE, ArmA3, WT in SimBattles, steel fury karkov etc). The only other flight SIM I play is DCS (and there helicopters only)

Thkx Froggy for sharing. Could you please mentiin which mission/script you're playing? There're not so many currently but I can't find out this one, and the one with 2 or 3 panther III with you.
Its just one of the tank icons on the Stalingrad map - I cant remember which exact location, but it was roughly North East.. I just went to Stalingrad map, selected all the ground objects tick-boxes and drove around looking for them.
I’m confused on how one player operates the tank. Do you switch back and forth between driver and gunner?
You can do most things from position that aims the gun - I guess thats commander - or gunner. lol. I think in future you will have a multiplayer online situation where 4 or 5 players can operate one tank.
I think a cooperative (multiple tanks) would be cool too! BTW Thanks for the videos !!

Another unrealistic sim. The commander decides what targets to engage and where the driver goes and he either sticks his head out of the hatch or uses the vision blocks to do it. The gunner doesn't command the tank. He engages the targets the commander gives him.
Keep in mind this is the beginning, I'm sure there will be plenty of updates soon.

I havent played WOT, but obviously WT is arcade to the max, where as Tank Crew is in the simulation category.
If you consider WT arcade to the max WOT is on a whole other level of arcade, it makes war thunder look realistic
